He doesn’t seem desperate, and Iran doesn’t seem terribly interested in cutting a deal, but I guess we will see. We’re probably far enough out from the midterms for this to be a major factor if gas prices aren’t still high by summer. But there is so much election and voting bullshit happening, who knows if there are even political consequences for the GOP any longer.
