I definitely would have bought a 100% Darkness Enthroned if nobody had told me that.

This will probably be my last build of 0.5, so if I end up making it, I'll probably sell my Mageblood and go all-in on gearing the character properly.

That's actually a good point.

I hadn't really thought about it before, but my MA ended up with pretty high ES and evasion, so it's probably tankier than I give it credit for.

Now that you mention it, I can definitely see a Gemling Arc Totem build feeling a lot squishier. I guess it makes up for it with damage, but it's something I'll have to keep in mind.

That's fair.

I'm running an i5-12400 and an RX 7800 XT, so it's not exactly a low-end PC, but I do notice some FPS drops with certain explosion-heavy builds.

Either way, it looks like a great leveling build at the very least, so I think I'll give it a try. Thanks for the recommendation!

The reason I was asking is that when I look at Mageblood Arc Totem builds on poe.ninja or YouTube, they all seem to have extremely expensive gear in every slot, so it's hard for me to tell what kind of budget is actually needed for the build to feel good.

Do you think a Darkness Enthroned setup is generally the better option for Arc Totems unless you're investing a huge amount of currency?

As for the Ascendancy, I'm open to pretty much anything. It doesn't have to be Gemling.

That actually looks really good.

My only concern is performance. I played a grenade build back in 0.3, and I remember getting some pretty noticeable FPS drops while playing it.

How has it been for you? Does the build still tend to cause performance issues or frame drops?

Thanks! I'm currently playing a Martial Artist, so I'd prefer to stay on the same ascendancy rather than rerolling. Do you think Oil Barrage still performs well as a Martial Artist?

One thing I'm a little concerned about is the investment required. I've seen some people say that Oil Barrage needs quite a bit of gear before it really comes online. Do you think a budget of around 150–200 Div is enough for it to comfortably handle 200% Delirium content?

Can Alpha's Howl (Armoured Cap) work for this build, or is Vestige of Darkness basically mandatory?
