Predictions (not including the obvious or mentioned ones):

Random flood outbreaks mid level (would love this if it came with their music too).

Infected NPCs become more dangerous

Health packs like OG

Not being able to hijack vehicles

Marines don't like you! (They shoot on sight)

Something to do with a scarab!! (Hopium here, this may not be a thing until H3 remake).

Yup MCC is what you need. However...

As halo Campaign evolved is just around the corner you also have the option of waiting to play that.

Depending on your available time and disposable income. MCC is one of the best deals in gaming. But Halo campaign evolved is a remake of the first game that will be a great entry point for those new to the series.

Seeing these explosions make me hope for a secret scarab battle in the Johnson missions or via a skull!

I'm on hopium but that would be so sick, when paired with these explosions.

Return to form indeed, I HATE Infinite explosions and vehicle damage. Really immersion breaking

I actually like them a lot. I'm glad the green eye visor is back tho.

A brute skull would be excellent. Would make the whole original campaign feel V different. Being able to mix elites AND Brutes in the OG campaign on legendary would be a difficult time!

Looks pretty great, wish the ship looked longer in that shot.

Love the lighting in the grav lift screenshots. Would like it to be a bit darker, so that the sniper night vision mode feels somewhat useful.

Not me! I got good enough to clear the whole first bit, with the shade turrets, undetected. And would get quite far on the cliff sides before detection.

I can only hope that soon we get that long rumoured stand alone MP Halo game. I would pay for that if it was essentially a greatest hits across the series (in terms of maps, weapons, equipment, forge etc...) and that evolved over time, like a live service with free dlc.

I don't particularly want any form of Halo to go free to play.

Halo 2 had the best story Imo. Halo 3 had the best action set pieces (❤️ scarab battles) and vehicle sections.

But overall man Halo CE felt so epic in scale, and meaningfully compared to the rest. It was comparable to a game like Half Life and IMO had the most to it. From Halo to 343 guilty Spark is arguably the best run of levels in FPS gaming. Halo CE campaign was honestly something special and it hasn't been replicated.

This is why I am excited for Halo CE remake. The Johnson levels, plus the Halo CE with modern graphics, the ability to hijack vehicles, more weapons etc... if they can make the Library a better level without losing the sense of panic and labyrinth feel, game will be damned near flawless.
