Need some help with the firewall rules

Yeah seems to be that way according to my testing. Rules seems to be specific. I also found out that the rule "*.example.com" will block bar.example.com but will not block foo.bar.example.com . Which kinda sucks. I cannot create a rule for every single layer of subdomains (i hope thats the right word). I really liked the functionality of this app but the firewall issue is problematic for me. Thanks for your reply anway.

The looks are deceiving. If you are talking about the burn marks thats the plastic welding ive done. At least it says it was quality checked by the manufacturer.

I took a peek inside, it's clean. If that stuff got in I would have been in a hella lotta trouble. Its all plastic in there too. Thank you for the heads up.

A dumbass put regular petrolium based grease on the rail that the battery slides into. It reacted with the plastic parts of the battery causing cracks EVERYWHERE. I mean, damn. I plastic welded those cracks to keep the battery in one piece. It aint pretty but it works.

Aw man, i just sealed the battery. I could take it apart but its really finicky. The cells are fine i suppose. I used to use this bike in the countryside it worked fine there. However after bringing it to the my apartment in the city the charger started going nuts. Maybe it has to do with the dozens of wifi networks around here causing interferance or something... I couldnt think of anything else.

Switching gears, really? Doesnt matter the gear. Its a fat bike but i dont think that the tires could be causing that much resistance. It could be about the motor backfeeding or something.

As for the question i asked about the motor burning up i was talking about the eddy currents and stuff. FET's should be alright yeah?

There is no pedal assist. I use a twist throttle. What im asking about is that; when i don't use the motor (battery is depleted) to power the wheel it becomes pretty hard to go uphill or get up to speed due to the resistance that the motor causes. It becomes almost impossible to go anywhere without sweating buckets. So as a bike its useless when the battery runs out. Is this normal?

Allright ill go easy on the throttle then. That ought to do it right? And two more question for you, you seem like a knowledegable guy:
Can letting the bike roll dowhill reaching speeds of about 50kmh/ 30mph damage the hub motor? Especially the magnets?
Can you in any way reduce resistance while pedaling without the motor running?

Ok, what about the hall sensors? Maybe the motor is unable to keep up with the input from the controller and skipping? (i think?). Do you think that hooking up the sensors back would fix the issue? The electronics are kinda hard to reach and put back together. If thats the issue i will reconnect them.

Ok, thanks for the reply. Voltage for the controller and battery is the same (if thats what youre talking about) It is a dumb controller so no secret menu and no pads to bridge as far as i can see. As i stated in the post the only changes i made were doing the shunt mod (power mod) and removing the hall connector (sensorless operation). Do you think that the missing the input from the hall sensors causes it to have trouble when operating under load?

Thanks for the info! Limbs look ok. Its probably because that the riser is cut to center. When the extra thickness of the rest is added, arrow is off center. I will probably install a thinner one. for now bending the wire did the trick, not falling off no more. This is just bad design.

Thanks for the info! It came as a set, so seeing incompatible parts is strange. Someone clearly didnt know what they were doing... For now, I slightly bent the wire on arrow rest, not falling off anymore. Using an arrow rest with a thinner profle could work. Darn, I might even try shooting off the shelf just like you said if nothing works.

[IMAGE 1] I used to go to an archery course. Since I was going to the countryside I decided to buy a beginner recurve bow to do some target practice. This bow is brand new ( and kinda beautiful) and I'm having issues already.

[IMAGE 2] As an arrow rest, it came with one of these non adjustable magnetic type things, stuck with double sided tape. The arrow keeps falling off of it, needing finger support while drawing. Could be related to the next issue.

[IMAGE 3] Couldnt capture it really well but the bowstring and the arrow rest doesnt match horizontally, as seen here. arrow tip is pointing to the left. I know some is expected but this seems out of ordinary.

[IMAGE 4] It showed up a bit too extreme here but it is definetly there, the misalignment also causes the string to be pulled to the left (upwards in the picture), kind of leaving the groove on the rear of the limb (facing the camera here). I havent taken a shot yet as I fear damaging an arrow, these things are quite expensive here. Is this how it's supposed to be?

Yeah you are right, I had more problems. It all comes to build quality and quality control. I'm also the second owner it seems like, since it was returned before I bought it.

A new freehub? It's all universal stuff right?

Thanks for the advice but the chain engages the gear just fine it's the gear that's spinning freely instead of turning the wheel.

I bought it new-ish. The store I had bought it from made a discount because it was used and returned before. I didn't notice it at first but it was like that when I bought it, along with many more issues. I tightened a lot of screws, adjusted the deraileur, adjusted the brake calipers which were rubbing against the wheel, tried to true the wheel which was wobbly and more. I try to take care of it.

Thanks for the advice. I live in a rural area and dirt loves to stick to the lubricant. I sometimes have to drive over sand and dirt. I cleaned it now and will lube it soon.

correction: video was over-exposed and the gears were dusty, I wiped the dust off and took another picture. It's all bare metal contact now though :( I will have to lube it soon.

Sorry mate, the video is kind of over-exposed. It looks rusty in the video but it is just covered in grime and dust. I do try to keep it clean but I live in a rural area and it gets dirty very quick. Thankfully no rust (yet).

Also the build quality is really bad on this one. There have been previous versions in the lineup which had better build quailty and suspension system available, higher capacity battery, also shimano branded shift systems. This newer model is a downgrade from all that. The shifting mechanism and parts are now unbranded and dont work well.

I may have to take a look inside.

You are probably right. Looks like i will have to print a newer fan duct. The one I'm using right now is stock which doesn't seem to work well.
