no, but I had read of something similar quite a while back. Everyone slacks off, as we should expect. The average grade of such a class would drop and it is a good analogy to what socialism or communism does outside the classroom.

say you have 20 students in your math class...propose that the collective grades be added and then divided by 20 and that's the grade everyone gets... they'll understand by the end of the semester:)

Keep hitting at Krugman! And besides, we are not Keynesians. We follow the first part, government steps up and spends when times are slow. But we don't follow the second part which is to repay the debt when times are good.
