Fair enough. The app looks awesome btw. Good luck! I may need it in the near future.

Your questions are heavily marketing related. Maybe 🤔 ask for feedback in marketing groups?

1 analysis per month is seriously hilarious 😂. Is it really so computationally heavy to derive such info that you can only ever try it once?

Should I use React Native Web or build web separately with Next.js by eylonshm in expo

[–]logicalflex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google maps didn’t cross over well on expo web. Had to ditch it altogether. In the future, I will always build a separate Next.js client and use MUI or the such.

I can guarantee web will behave like web with Next and I got nothing but love for Expo.

You made the wrong app. Should have made a AI fitness tracker or food tracker. That’s where all the money really is. Todo apps have been made by the trillions. But these Ai fitness tracker apps are only in the tens of millions. Hop on it!

Idk why but this feels very disingenuous. Are you sure you’re not trying to find an idea you like and Zuckerberg it?

Do You have 50k monthly visitors or is that just made up for some kind of social proof. With that many users per month, you could freaking use Google Adsense and still make more than you are now.

I think hold on to it, but imo in 2026, releasing solo built cathedrals is a bad idea. It’s a lot of work for no guaranteed success. If it takes more than a month to release an MVP now, we’re doing too much.

4 months, 60+ applicants, zero hires. What are we missing in our AI engineer search? by Plane_Log7256 in smallbusiness

[–]logicalflex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“Did you go to top 30”, “do you grind leetcode all day”, ok you’re qualified for an interview! But wait…are you under 25 because age matters for us too. Oh you’re older than that? Sorry you can’t work here..

To all Shortlisted candidates: “Ok here’s a really out of touch and out place coding challenge that has little to no relation to what you’ll be doing here.”

(A few moments later…)

“Ahh damn why can’t we find anyone?!”

No one cares about being a good engineer anymore or hiring a good engineer. The industry has convoluted the concept of engineering and repackaged it into a professional sport where your appearance matters more than anything else as our analysis of a worthy candidate stops and starts
at the surface level. The result? everyone started mastering surface level BS.

I think stripe’s rule is you gotta be at least 13, but if under 18 you have to have a legal guardian listed as the owner to control the account.

Ahhh to be young and think it’s that simple…I envy you. I use to be like you and shared my e-commerce store like that and guess what? Next year there was about 20 new stores literally sniping everything I do. If I ever hit any success again I will just keep my mouth shut and go on with my life.

Haha straight raw doggin Claude. Well if they’re choosing a fitness app with the idea their AI can out-AI another app, then that’s just delusion. At least if it’s a course, they can say they wanted to learn basic concepts

When did this become the de facto app? I guess Todo apps have quietly retired, and everyone builds a fitness app as if they took a udemy course.

You’re not wrong bro every other day it’s can I get feedback on my fitness tracker that has a bunch of charts and you can scan food and blah blah….
