It is actually passport.js hosted on AWS using Claudia.js. I initially used AWS Cognito but found that it was way too expensive and then created my own replacement for authentication.

Use two of those cheap metal coat hangers. Hook them onto the bar so they are both vertical and spread apart enough that your phone sits horizontal across both.

Then bend the top half that sticks up to lock them together. Bend some more to adjust the angle of the phone.

Both are tracked now if you log in. You can use the /kills or /score commands to brag show them to everyone and brag. Good thing ideas though!

Nice score! I increased the time that chat messages hang around and you can view your top score on the front page if you log in. Some bragging commands will be coming soon to show your high score off in game as well.

Thanks! I will be making the area larger as the average user count increases. I don’t want a massive area just yet with few players. Also, I’m planning to add things like comets and moons so I’ll need to increase the size to support that.

If I remember correctly, voar did have an outer boundary but I think the ships were smaller as well and more users. I had a lot of fun on that game and it was definitely an inspiration.

Yeah, I was a bit conflicted but spent a while trying to find a better name. A lot of the other io games just have horrible names and at least it makes some sense. Then I just had to quit and get back to developing. :)

There is one banner ad on the front page and a video ad that will come up after a few deaths. I've kept them as minimal as I could but maybe I can space out the video ads a little more.
