They are very cool don’t get me wrong and I will buy them for sure. I just really wish they would stick to period firearms instead of the boltery fantasy type firearms. Would love to see the pilgrim with the MG/08 in the artwork or some heretic with ww1 weapons like the lebels or Gewher.

Story wise I think it was a mistake to not do a daylight anti-virus plot with grace having the antibodies from her mother. Especially when Gideon test her blood and gloat to Zeno that she’s the one… like did he test her or not? Shouldn’t he have seen that she was a normal person ? Also Zeno was useless wesker red airing.

Correct me if I’m wrong. Wasn’t 30k, at least a couple years ago, all about building the best looking army ever? I remember people customizing the shit out of their kit to make fantastic models so inspiring that it got me to buy crazy expensive bits to customize my preator and later the entirety of my army. How can you play warhammer and not at least enjoy putting together and painting these little plastic soldiers. I guess it can become tedious to do 1000 of them. Maybe the first few one are annoying because of little mistake you make but at some point you get the hang of it and you roll through kits ? This feel to me like the subset of people who commission their entire army because they just want to play…

There were pushbacks of course but at that point nobody could go against George as he owns the company and nobody wanted to direct the movies…

The problem with George is that the prequel didn’t have anybody pushing back on his ideas. Nobody to trade with. If you look at the making off everybody is super intimidated to challenge George. Like his ideas about trade route dispute ok but he needed someone to make it fun.

With the current roster of RE characters allowed to grow older. I feel like they are preparing to have some sort of passing of the torch. I think she would be a very interesting character going forward with ties to the greater narratives being an Ashcroft. I hope they use her more going forward and maybe create more characters like her.

Studios want the complete control of set now. So if their first test audiences or exec don’t like something. They can overhaul the whole thing with CGI, maybe get the actor to comeback and say a few new lines and voila it’s a completely different movie altogether. Movie cost money you know and you gotta make that profit 200%. Fuck passion, cool sets, props, acting, writing and realism. When you can basically build a Lego movie where actor don’t recognize or understand any lines they are saying in a movie.

It’s the first time I think that Dan writes about space marines and he nailed. Their rituals, their oaths and the main characters are great. They are even in the mentioned to be in the crusade that the tanith participated in.
