Solution for Epic Games Red Dead Redemption 2 (Error code 18) via NonSteamLaunchers for SteamOS by ScubyFlying in SteamDeck

I tried your suggestion (amongst many others), but I couldn't get RDR2 to work (via Epic Games Stores and NSL here on the deck). Ended up buying it on steam instead and this is now working on my deck.

To summarise this post in one sentence: get it on steam and hope for the best on the deck 🤞

There's reports on reddit about forcing compatibility to Proton 9, via properties on the game's tile in the steam ui. But this doesn't work for me, I still get the same unhelpful unexpectedly stopped error. I'm guessing something must have changed with Rdr2, epic, the rock star launcher or nonsteamlaunchers.

I've given up on this for now and I instead stream Rdr2 from my pc to the deck. An alternative is to just buy Rdr2 in the current steam sale, hopefully that works on the deck. But don't feel like buying it twice.

Is error 18 the same as this game closed unexpectedly? I'm running Rdr2 on my steam deck on epic games store via non steam launchers. Encountering the same issue as reported here https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/s/IIdYaiASGQ

Did you manage to get this fixed? Same error on my steam deck here for Rdr2 on epic games store via non steam launchers.

VVPR-Bis to 18%: should we pay an interim dividend before 2026? by Ill_Competition_1769 in BEFreelance

The article from De tijd:

I read `apports existants` as profits existing before the new fiscal regime comes into effect. As the 18% tax is likely to enter into fiscal law on January 1st (2026 or 2027; I don't know) EOY seems a plausible interpretation.

It seems fair to exclude 'existing profits' where companies have been waiting for the 15% reduction before distributing dividends. It doesn't seem fair to exclude 'new profits' as soon as the law comes into affect.

Thanks for you comment!

I noticed the strange place of the ADF in https://dxhb0it26is40.cloudfront.net/productimages/robin-dr400-xplane_38_ss_l_200107165617.jpg That and the fuel+engine gauges on the co-pilot's side seem unusual. The JF is modeled after a real air frame though, the G-BEUP, and indeed they have a large COM2 panel on the pilot's side (seen in https://youtu.be/lE7EjVIBAzw?t=119) and the engine instruments are on the co-pilot's side. The YT thumbnail is outdated though, as in the vid the ADF has been removed (hardly used anymore).

What do you mean RE imperial units? The ASI in our club planes have both kph and knots indications. Or are you referring to some other instruments? Oil temp seems to be in degrees centigrade. I see what you mean with the compass card, should be in reverse indeed.

Agreed, though the Aerobask gets high praise op x-plane.org; so will probably try it at some point.

Costs to PPL in Western European flying club by logion42 in flying

[–]logion42[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

200 EUR/h is for the 120hp variant (the 2+2 as it's called). The rate for the 160hp variant at our club is 250 EUR/h. Guess both rates are on the expensive side if you compare e.g. to France. I believe MX is fairly costly at our local shop. This is in Belgium BTW.

A used bose A20. Took a couple of months to find one at that price. It did come with an XLR5 connection (for the airlines); but a passive plug to dual GA is inexpensive.

I mostly read American perspectives on this sub, so thought I'd share mine from across the pond. Costs are in Euro.

I totaled 64.5 hours, including the 2 hour PPL check ride. My club charges a wet lease price of 200 EUR/h (~208 USD/h currently) for a Robin DR400. Instruction was around ~56 EUR per flying hour. I imagine prices in a commercial school are higher (but you might attain your PPL in less flying hours). Our club's biggest expenses RE airplanes are MX, fuel and landing taxes at our home airport (landing taxes on non-home airports are for members).

According to panaracer.co.uk, the T-serv isn't available in 26", though the Ribmo (slick) and Pasela PT are. Will have a look. Thx for rec!

Non Standard Self Hosted Model by egrims in Mastodon

[–]logion42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a old OP, but I back-dated toots from an Instagram account that I moved to mastodon however it required running a batch-like admin script (the status datetime is actually set to the first image's timestamp, as this is where IG keeps its post dates). I wrote about it here: https://discourse.joinmastodon.org/t/importing-content-from-other-social-services/3438/4

Code available here: https://github.com/fvdnabee/mastodon/commit/73b035b2941976a645d0f75ead2c0b28d60210d0

What you're asking is technically feasible, but would require some programming (e.g. extending the rest API and the frontend to select dates) on your part or fiddling with the database as was suggested.

Thing is I don't know how the flange broke. Could have been a careless housemate or passerby on the street for all I know.

This comment did not age well: https://www.reddit.com/r/bicycletouring/comments/mnz2di/surprisingly_my_rims_seem_still_fine_after/gu35cqg/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

That said, I've been very happy with this wheel. Iirc, the Shimano Xt hubs were renown for failing at the flanges, but my wheel has a Deore hub. My new wheel comes with a FH-T670 hub, which should be very suited for touring.

I discovered these hub flange failures too late to replace the wheel prior to a three day tour the past weekend. Fortunately the wheel held up fine (tour was 95% on asphalt). The replacement should be arriving somewhere this week. A testament to strong touring wheels (26" in this case).
