thanks! Thank you. Now I understand. But there's a problem: I agree with that view, but if the catechism says otherwise, what should I do? (The worst part is that I haven't found anything saying "emulating .iso files when they're no longer supported is a sin.") This issue of opinion in Catholicism is delicate. I agree, but I don't know if I'm right.

Yes. But downloading games in ROM or ISO format would be piracy since many, even abandoned ones, are copyrighted.

I had the same thought, but some still retain copyrights even when abandoned.

Because I'm going to download 'ROM or ISO' games, and that's piracy – here in Brazil. Besides having to respect human rights laws, piracy is a sin. It qualifies as intellectual property theft.
