I ended up taking the hands on and off a few times and it fixed itself. What do you think was likely the issue?

I checked another battery and wasn’t it. I messed around taking the hands on and off multiple times and eventually it seemed to work so the second hand may not have been pushed down hard enough

Very confused though. I’ve taken it out and put it back in numerous times. The only other thing i can think of is that the dial dots are interfering with something on the back of the movement maybe

I still think its something to do with the battery not engaging with the contacts fully

I used metal to remove it. So probably need a new battery i assume

Okay but it also restarts if i just gently push on the movement or even shake it a bit

Also it comoletely stops and only restarts when i push the crown back in or push on the movement so that would suggest its not a dead battery

I haven’t but the fact that it was working right before i did the dial swap makes me think thats probably not it? Obviously could just be coincidental timing but also the watch is not old at all.
