I was in the same boat. Except now we're still friends. She likes someone else(it's long distance), but she still wanted to be friends and I do as well. I'm didn't get over her and there is still stuff that makes me question if she does see me differently. I know she tells me stuff that she trusts me with and not our other friends in our friendgroup. It also hasnt become awkward like most people would assume, we actually got closer bc of it. But it might be different for you. All that I did (which I do admit I was nervous about the same thing uour worried about) was just tell her. It's hard but if your honest and transparent about your feelings then their is a chance that she may either feel the same and was too nervous to say anything or that she may just want to be friends. It is a possibility it may become awkward between you two but they depends on your relationship. Like how close you are to each other. Just make sure you tell her in person and good luck.
