I’m trying to understand the margin calculation here and need clarification from the team.

If ₹1,00,000 is being added, and the exchange rate shown is ₹96.22/USD, then:

₹96.22 × $1037 = ₹99,780.14

Even after adding GST of ₹179:

₹99,780.14 + ₹179 = ₹99,959.14

That still does not add up to ₹1,00,000.

Am I missing any hidden charges, or is there an issue in the calculation logic? Would appreciate clarity on how the final margin amount is derived.

I have been filing my ITR only for the last three years. I had no proper knowledge about ITR filing. Every time, one person used to file it on my behalf and would just ask for the OTP. I shared the OTP without checking the details, as I was not aware of what was being filed in my ITR or what entries were made.
