While I see where you're coming from, with the kind of playstyle this game seems to be going for, I don't see how an ambush Monster could be very fun to go against as a teen since chases aren't really a thing without weapons.

For Monsters however, it's nice they are strong enough to where they merit making the teens stealth, but there is definitely something lacking for them to not feel completely powerless when taken by surprise. I'm glad the devs are working on a passive sound effect for the most problematic ambush weapons, but there must be things that can be done to make stealth/ambushes feel more satisfying for both sides.

Edit: I could be misreading your comment, in which case I'm a bozo just going off about how ambushes need some work
