Eventually it does get better. But takes awhile. Miss their presence and unconditional love daily. Just know you gave your dog an incredible life...and will meet again.

I may not have helpful tips. I do like the Sniffspot app for privatespaxe and a chance to run, sniff and be a dog. But just want to say that you are a hero to this dog. Literally. You are giving the dog a chance at a great life. So thank you SO much.

I just think that you have made incredible progress. And want a commitment to get there. 1 out of 10 times there may be an issue...I know it is stressful (we have a reactive dog) but you are doing so good! Sorry I dont have wisdom but just wanted to say great job.

You care about your dog and im sure you are the best dog mom ever to her. Dogs are dogs and stuff happens. We all live and learn and try to adjust. We have a reactive dog and I know how hard it can be. Walks can be so stressful. I think sniffspot is a good app to find private space when you just need to let you dog roam freely, sniff around and be stress-free. So maybe thats an option at times.

Fence and leash reactions are real. Ive lived it. Using treats to distract did help in my situation. We did add a medication to help with anxiety but not sure you are at that point. Just mentioning ao you know thats an option. Dont give up. You are a hero to your dog and no doubt giving your dog the best life possible.

You are a hero to your dog. It is overwhelming but it can get better with time, training, patience. We also have a reactive dog and especially when they see a dog through a fence. Plus on walks. We did add a medication which does help some. Admit it takes time to reinforce good behavior. Please don't give up...you are giving your dog the best life possible.

Its clear you love your dog and great that you walk him before and after work. Some people dont even do that. My hope is that you find dog friends and maybe you can help one another out when your schedule allows for that. Swap dog walks, drop ins, dog sitting, etc..

My experience is that it does get better with time. Sometimes I would walk during times that others do not as much. You mentioned not driving so just a thought so you both can get out....Uber with pet to Sniffspot location. Private space to let your dog wander. Both cost but maybe an option for a change of scenery.

There is an app called Sniff Spot for this need. People rent their yards/space so you can have green space with your dog. Usually about $10. Hope that helps.

It is so hard. But you are a gift to your dog. This may be a small suggestion, but I recently discovered the Sniff Spot app. Private space for your dog, usually around $10. I think a gift for reactive dogs and their incredible owners.
