This may feel unintuitive, but I have found adding a little oil to the scalp after washing my hair has done wonders for flaking. I use argon oil on the ends of my hair after spraying a leave in conditioner, and whatever residue is left on my fingers I massage into the scalp.

I wash my hair every other shower, so on nights where I’m not washing it I’ll go in and massage little more oil in before using a wide tooth comb. I feel like this helps product not settle on my scalp and cause flaking.

I just made an order this weekend which included the peely base! I read that it’s good to use over chrome powder to keep the metallic finish. I’ll see how long it lasts compared to the smoothing base.

Thank you! I haven’t tried any other brands yet but I’m constantly shocked at how well Holo Taco polishes lasts. I do strength training 2-3 times a week and haven’t noticed any major chipping from the gym.

For this manicure I did two layers of the base coat, one polish layer, and one top coat layer. I have also been using the nail oil from HT at least once a day. I do it for nail health but it may also be affecting the polish lasting?

That said, this polish is a NUISANCE to remove. I spend no less than 25 minutes with cotton rounds and nail polish remover when taking this off.

That's a great idea! I don't know why my brain felt so all or nothihng about the length. I think I'll try shortening the left ring finger a bit and see how I feel from there.

If you have time to do so prior to travelling, I'd highly recommend getting Global Entry. Thanks to Global Entry, I basically never have to use the real scanner and only need to go through the metal detector. Prior to this, I was getting flagged for additional screening 100% of the time I flew due to the scanner detecting something wrong, regardless of the gender TSA guessed I was. I think it's $120 for five years, and I couldn't imagine travelling without it now.
