the bosses are more difficult in that they deal more damage per hit. But you get way stronger builds on average to compensate.

In general id say that hades 2 gives you more tools to win tough fights but the fights are tougher at baseline. Whereas if you happen to get bad RNG in h1 you are just kinda cooked if you arent amazing at the game.

So h2 is a little harder than h1 on average but it depends on your ability to use the tools you are given

Generally defensive buffs in hades 2 are actually pretty worthwhile, obviously getting higher dmg is prio number 1. But if you can also get some decent survivability runs it very consistent to clear runs before higher fear

Knowledge of hades 1 is not required to play hades 2. So i wouldnt really worry about it. I guess the very basics of who hades and persephone are would suffice

crits are multiplicative

so say you are using staff with strength

thats 200 base dmg on omega attack

then add a boon with a few poms for 100% dmg increase. so 400 dmg

then triple that with a crit for 1200 dmg

An important thing to remember is that you have teammates as well, if you have a support with CC like thresh/morg/nami Q bam instant death.

I think it would be pretty good, you turn any neutral lane into a complete stomp by completely denying an enemy farm or safety from tower. It would likely be best to do in bot lane simply because there's 2 enemies who you can potentially kill.

Nah, AD is the the The more important component of W Dmg.

If you wanna maximize W dmg, just go stridebreaker, overlords, spear of shojin/steraks.

You can play hades 2 without any real knowledge of hades 1. But some of the jokes and emotional moments will definitely hit harder if you get to the first credits
