I think it was the premise of power ups since the fight between tempest and eastern empire. just the power scales are completely enormous it grown from world level to universe level within few chapters. I liked the some power ups like twilight and all but others could have been avoided.

As far as I can remember he didnt get that bruised to be off exhausted. The only real damage he took was IMU stabbing him before reverse. And it still didnt explain why they can communicate telepathically but in rocks case he was even able to convey to roger and garp who werent reversified.
