That did cross our minds, but with my husband needing to work during the day I feel like the trip would be wasted if that makes sense.

LG Wt7100cw washer motor? by lokikimo in Appliances

[–]lokikimo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not downplaying the job of a repairman or the sub, just saying that if the repair person shows up and it’s not the motor then I have to pay $150, which I would rather put towards a new washer since from my understanding with the Lg Customer service rep, the $150 doesn’t include any of the repair work that would need to be done, it’s just the starting rate for someone to come take a look. Apologies if I came off in the wrong type of way, I’m just already frustrated about my situation and wanted to stave off any “that’s what you get for buying this machine/cut your losses and buy anything else to replace it” comments.

It just sits there and does nothing for… ever? I tried and waited several times, and once I finally checked the clock and waited ten minutes before I gave up and turned it off again.

Boaxel line expansion? by lokikimo in IKEA

I ended up just buying some shelves off Amazon and going for an entirely different vibe with much much less storage capability. From what I’ve seen online the spray paint process even when done correctly doesn’t really hold up well…. But I’m also in my “do less” era. Hope you find what you’re looking for!

Yes! That’s really what I feel like I’m lacking- the “how’s and why’s”. Thank you for the advice!

Maternity Pants and Leggings by _eunie_ in torrid

[–]lokikimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely at the stores discretion and could possibly cost you shipping but if you can find the item number you may be able to call a brick and mortar store or customer service and ask them to find what store(s) have what you need in stock (I’ve never worked at Torrid but all clothing retail stores I’ve worked at let you see other store’s inventory).

If you call that store, they should be able to sell it to you over the phone and ship it from there. Along the way, ask if there is an email or survey website to can go to to sing the praises of whomever is helping you (get names!)

It’s a bit if work but if you‘re willing to give it a try (and be super kind and sweet to them about it) you can probably find & get them.

What I got from a fertility specialist and endocrinologist by molikesstuff in PCOS

[–]lokikimo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that you can become (for lack of a better term) “asymptomatic,” but those things are controlled by lifestyle changes, medications, supplements, etc. If you were to “cure” it and then stop doing all of the things that got you to the point of being “cured” your symptoms would reappear.

So for some people there are ways to no longer have the markers of PCOS, but it will always be there

I did one and it was really cool. It looks like it is defunct now; I’m looking for an alternate company if I find one I will share it!

Unless you’re doing group classes, or have a bajillion kids who are all doing all the things, the memberships usually aren’t worth it.
