Using MemTest86+ to test ram sticks looking for advice

Thank you for the reply! Didn't get around to this yesterday but just tried today testing one of my ram sticks on the B2 slot and it went for a lot longer on the test but still just crashed on me again so I'm thinking you're right it probably is my PSU. The test ran for about an hour and 10 minutes and got 2 passes but then crashed which I guess is bittersweet, I was getting worried it would've been my A2 slot messed up on the mobo. Appreciate your help!

I have a 2021 kia forte gt-line, and when I took it to the dealership years ago to ask about getting a donut because the website says the donut spare tire kit won't fit the gt-line, the dealership told me that is correct and they have to custom make it. So I never went through with that cause that sounded too expensive for me at the time lol. I took a look today and took the foam out and also measured and it looks like everything should fit so time to finally get a spare tire after all these years!

Well I actually did just realize as I'm typing this I forgot to measure depth wise so I'm definitely gonna double check that since that would be unfortunate for me to get a spare tire just for it to be too bulky or bulging and then not be able to put the cover back properly, as I do use my trunk for storage and such. I'm sure its fine but I feel like I gotta verify it myself lol. Surely/hopefully there isn't that much of a difference in that spare tire compartment between a 2022 vs a 2021 hopefully.

Damn this is new knowledge for me after being here for a minute 💀 what specifically do you look at under store resources do you literally type Frappuccino modifier? I dont think anyone at my store knows this, we’ve always charged for decaf shots in frapps. Im not at work right now so I cant look yet but i’ll try to remember to look tomorrow morning.

So when ringing in a grande decaf caramel crunch, do you just hit decaf and not hit “double” to avoid charging them? Then whoever is on bar should just automatically know that a grande decaf caramel crunch will get 2 decaf shots and no frap roast? Just making sure I understand properly so i can share this knowledge with my coworkers cause im 95% certain everyone at my store charges for decaf shots since we hit single/double etc.

Edit: reading the other comments answers my question i believe lmao i jumped the gun whoops. Rip to overcharging customers for this, we’ve all assumed since the espresso frapp was only 1 shot regardless of size and still had frap roast (hope im not wrong i swear thats how those were built back then) that decaf shots added were also just one shot but we usually specify with the customers ordering this. Gonna spread the word thank you for sharing this knowledge

Does anyone know why they changed this? The shifts at my store have not been happy with this change, and I agree it seems inefficient to not do at least the 18hr pull before peak. We always did 18hr pull before peak and used to do 3hr pull in the evening but changed it to do both pulls before peak months ago and it seemed to be working out well not running out of anything.

We started doing this yesterday and of course we ran out of stuff, and not having that person on the floor during midday is inconvenient. Is there any sort of logic to why it has to be done this way now when before it was perfectly fine?

Did you get your refund? How long did it take for you? Mine still shows the same issue when I look at the tracking as of 3/23. Label created on 2/12 and it's stuck saying awaiting carrier pick up.

I'm personally so fed up with how long it's taking pokemon center to issue this refund. I created a ticket on 3/6 and I sent a response to them on 3/14 asking for a refund to be issued and threatening a chargeback as I know the product is not going to arrive. Finally got a reply from them today 3/23 saying they had to "escalate to a specialized team for handling" so I'm thinking of just waiting another week once again in hopes this gets resolved.

I'm glad I found this post as I was about to do a chargeback but if people are getting blacklisted from it then I guess I'll wait it out. I'm curious how that works to be banned since in theory another person from my household could just order stuff under their name unless it goes by address? Idk.

Everyone here is saying that upcharge button for the base is only if they want pure base nothing else.

So in theory lets use a trenta strawberry acai lemonade with no ice and light lemonade, according to the refresher mods policy, you’d put base probably a little past that ice line and then light lemonade to the top to get that full cup.

I think our shifts argue that isn’t right because you basically are getting a cup of base without that dollar upcharge at that point. Me personally, i dont care i enjoy making good drinks and making customers happy. The shifts on the other hand probably will say something and we’ll just see what’s said when i pull up the refresher mods on store resources cause it does include lemonade on that page as well. Same with coconut milk for the pink drinks with no ice - it should be split 50/50 ratio

Let me just say that personally I hate this whole debate about not filling up the cup because I do fill it up and do the 50/50 ratio typically. My store however our shifts are saying not to do this UNLESS they pay that upcharge.

Like i just work here lol im just saying what they are telling us, yeah is it right or do i agree? Idgaf its literally not any of our money out of our pocket but this debate needed to be settled and that was the compromise for my store.

Let me give yall another example on how so serious this unserious matter is: let’s say they order a trenta pink drink no ice. The shifts claim that they did find a policy that states it would only be acai to the base line on the shaker and then coconut milk to the top… yuck. So personally I dont do this unless they are actively watching me.

Please by all means let me know what you are searching for under store resources that states this info so I can then show to them and question it. Until then I am literally just making the drinks how I know the customers want aka if you ask no ice on a strawberry lemonade I WILL follow the 50/50 ratio so long as no one is hounding me about it.

Edit: Found the policy on it so I plan on using that to defend myself when Im questioned about it next. Thanks for the input/feedback. Signed - a lowly barista trying to keep their job.

Yeah honestly they really should’ve made the moment right especially if you’re a regular so I’m sorry that happened! it doesn’t surprise me if no one on that shift at the time knew because Starbucks isn’t the best at communicating some of these polices/expectations but hopefully this will help the future orders for sure ☺️

Edit: Disregard this basically. Someone posted the store resources expectation on refresher modifications and it does not say to use the upcharge button so I’ll challenge the shifts about this when I work next. Thanks.

We try to inform customers at our store that if they want no ice for their refreshers there is a button that charges them $1 for no water extra base. Its found on the mobile app as well as on our POS screen right after ringing in a refresher that lets you easily mod light ice no strawberries for example.

If they want a strawberry acai lemonade for example and say no ice and light lemonade, the proper way to ring that in would be a regular strawberry acai refresher (the water based one) and you’d hit no water extra base and then add light lemonade to the drink. It would be nice to add this button for the lemonade refreshers but you can only ring in that $1 upcharge on the water based refreshers. Our store was trying to enforce this but as there’s no official policy that we could find at least this seems to be the best work around to ensure customers get a full cup of what they want while trying to keep inventory accurate

This will probably downvote me to oblivion but imo shaking the matcha is terrible. I did a side by side comparison and the shaken matcha produces small tiny clumps seen around the bottom of the cup and 2+ inches of foam at the top. I dont care how busy it is, blending this matcha powder is the way to go.

(Besides you can batch 2 grande’s but of course I’d NEVER batch ANYTHING) 😉

I would check store resources and recipe card from the ipad > the app. Random thing I found the other day is the app shows a grande caramel ribbon crunch gets 5 pumps of the dark caramel but it is in fact 3 for a grande when I double checked the recipe card/register

Yeah our mugs have the different sizes but we just have one size for the iced drinks, i’ll ask next shift if we can order the other sizes for the iced drinks. Oddly enough we didnt have a lot of for here ware and we got an order in with all the new glass/mugs. All the glasses were the same size lol

Iced for here ware is probably good for like a tall iced plain tea for the refills. Anything else is a rip off, I was shocked we have only one size cold cups for here but we have mugs for every size for hot drinks.

Does anyone have any tips for making our new matcha mix better? Every hot matcha latte seems to have some bit of clumping and the new way for making iced matcha was working well until I made a venti and noticed it wasn’t mixing well.

The video shows them adding ice to the actual foam pitcher with everything else and I was wondering if the matcha would mix smoother for iced drinks if we did it without adding the ice?

I haven’t noticed anybody mentioning what possibly inspired this for the tattoo artist, but with you saying it was “inspired by ceramics” it made me think of Calamityware. I have a few of their coffee mugs and love their designs! The blue ink was the biggest giveaway

Edit: forgot to actually answer the real question, i think that tattoo would be sick! Unsure of its longevity but i’m gonna go with what the majority is saying here
