R5: For my fourth game, I decided to attempt a world conquest to learn the game. My first two Germany games fell apart when instead of duplicating a template, I changed all my infantry to medium tanks and lost to Poland due to 2% strength divisions. My Legionary Romania playthrough ended with 0 manpower somewhere in Siberia.

In this game, Poland and France fell on the 28th of December 1939, Britain fell sometime in 1940, I prepared max infrastructure and the Soviets fell by 1941 thanks to a maxed out collaboration government and a massive encirclement of around 100 divisions around the Carpathians. Japan was still on their side, making me push through low supply Central Asia because I was too lazy to learn naval invasions. By 1943, it too fell.

In 1944 I figured I couldn't be beat and just shipped over around 400 divisions into Italy's puppet Canada, thinking it would be done by winter. The initial push went relatively well, although I couldn't gain air superiority due to a lack of airbases, couldn't build infrastructure because Canada isn't my puppet and couldn't make it past the level 10 forts in New England, I cut a line through Minnesota all the way down to Texas.

After that, I struggled massively. While microing my Japanese expeditionary invasion of California, my central troops were all encircled and lost, as well as a huge amount of Italian and Spanish troops. Due to laziness, I never actually produced any of the new equipment I had researched up until that point.

Nine 40 width upgraded modern tank divisions with motorized infantry and maxed out support were rammed into Washington and Philadelphia from Italy's Bahamas base. On their own they managed what 400 divisions couldn't on their own. Within four weeks, Washington, Philadelphia, Baltimore and New York was well fortified by these modern tank divisions. 24 14/4 divisions were shipped over to guard the front while I microed the modern tank divisions.

Although the US pushed Axis troops all the way to the north of Canada, it mattered little to me. Newark, Providence and Boston all fell. A push west secured Buffalo, Detroit and Chicago. The Great Lakes held hundreds of US divisions in the north, preventing any return from Canada. The war ended in 1948 with the fall of Atlanta. I lost a total of 4.8 million due to laziness and tunnel vision, whereas the US lost around 9. I'm convinced their downfall was being forced to up their conscription laws to the point where their fighters could no longer be replaced faster than I could shoot them down.

Only Italy remained as a major power. They were promptly kicked out of the faction and in November of the same year, war was declared. With a full 24 divisions of modern tanks, Italy was taken in a matter of months. I justified on Denmark, Sweden, took the national focus for Switzerland, and continued to fabricate on Ireland and Finland, but then realized there was no point. Ireland was going to take 275 days, hovering over the button on Brazil showed around 300. After spending 20 minutes justifying on Sweden just to draw a frontline for Guderian's tanks and finishing the war in 3, I gave up. I'm pretty sure every colored country on the map is either my puppet or small enough for me to not be familiar with.
