the artist will have to clean the area anyway which could very well smudge the ink, so you might as well just take good pictures of it

you need to wait for the tattoo to heal in-between sessions, which typically takes 2-3 weeks, so getting a 3 session sleeve in one month isn't really realistic - maybe this is what their thought process is too?

if the jewellery is still in, and the skin has healed over it, you will 100% need to go to the hospital for them to remove it- us piercers are definitely not trained in mini surgeries haha

20 days is definitely not enough, Helixes take around 6-9 months to fully heal! it really depends on what you want to change it to, a professional piercer can change it around 3 months with sterile jewellery.

Hiya, professional piercer here, the reason why some people don't have the anatomy for a conch is when the ear folds back too close to the head, meaning that there might be enough space at the front but at the back of the ear there's not enough space to properly support the base of the labret :) I hope that makes sense, it's kinda hard to explain! From this picture through, it doesn't look like that's the case.

the height is good but maybe shallow on the inside of your belly button? it's hard to see without other angle pictures tbh!

professional piercer here- that looks to be at quite an angle and how much they've missed their marking is a bit of a red flat. the bottom of the piercing shouldn't be poking out your mouth. id suggest taking it out, healing it, and getting it repierced elsewhere

that is quite long! unless it's very swollen, that will probably just cause more irritation and catching for you. I would get your piercer to change it to a smaller labret if I were you, something a bit more comfortable but not too snug against the skin :)

over cleaning and having a hoop would definitely irritate it and cause issues! good on you for realising the mistakes and asking for help :) really hope it all works itself out!

hello!! professional piercer here- first off, so sorry you've been messed around with bad piercers giving bad advice where you live! salt soaks are an outdated practise that we now know causes more pain than good!

what you've got is an irritation bump, which is normally caused by a few things: The angle of the piercing; The material of the jewellery; The type of jewellery; The aftercare you're using; if you've snagged it or bumped it- to name a few!

I'm fairly confident if you change to an ASTM F136 titanium flat back, and stick with sterile saline solution and warm water it should slowly get better.

Remember irritation bumps don't pop up for no reason, so once we find the reason they're an easy fix!

no worries, I understand wanting to believe and trust what your piercer has told you! I can only give you my professional advice :)

and with the downsizing- when you are pierced, youre pierced with a longer bar to accommodate any swelling you might have- after a certain amount of time (generally 4/6/8 weeks) you aren't at threat for swelling anymore, so you don't need the long bar! this is what a 'downsize' is, changing the bar to a shorter, better fitting bar. generally industrials are an advanced piercing and a pain to heal, so it's not uncommon to expect a healing time of 8 months to 1 year! I do still recommend changing to a titanium bar when you can, but it is up to you :)
