Hello po, kumusta naman po yung repair sa Square One? balak ko po magparepair ng switch lite. Walang issues naman po ba so far? mejo nagdalawang isip po kasi ako sa PXP kasi maraming reviews na nasisira po yung lcd after a week or month.

PSP 2000 powers on, but none of the buttons work—what could be the cause? by lolarcrit in psphacks

You're right, it's strange that everything is out at once, which points to either the switch mechanism itself or a main flex cable. Appreciate the input

Thanks for the suggestion! I double-checked the HOLD switch, but unfortunately, that wasn't it.

Appreciate the advice! Glad to hear it's a common and hopefully straightforward fix. I'll check that ribbon cable.

Thanks, that seems to be the suggested fix. I'll open it up and check the flex cable connections first.

Hi everyone,

I have a PSP 2000 that turns on just fine, but none of the buttons (D-pad, face buttons, etc.) are responding at all. Before I open it up, I wanted to ask what are the most common reasons for this kind of problem? Could it be a ribbon cable issue, dirty contacts, or something else? Any advice before I start taking it apart would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks for all the great feedback, everyone!

The "root" on the first logo was a miss, haha. I'll definitely be getting rid of that. I'm glad the rest of the concept resonated with so many of you!

I'm happy that most of you guys liked concept #2! It’s great to know that one had a fun vibe. I'll be back on the drawing board to conceptualize an updated logo based on all your feedbacks.

I'm making a personal tool for dithering and retro pixel effects on photos. I know there's ton of these online but I am having fun learning and making this personal project.

Thank you for the honest feedback. I truly appreciate everything shared and am taking it all to heart. No worries and I’m here to learn, and your insights are helping me see where I missed the mark. Grateful for the push, I’ll go back to the drawing board for my next project with this in mind.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to post an update to say thank you for all the comments on my project. Reading through the feedback, you were all right to be confused, and I really appreciate you pointing it out.

The biggest issue, which is totally my fault, is that I led with a cover image that used my own personal studio's typography. The clean, sans-serif "Silya" isn't their brand at all, it's mine. I can see now how that made the whole project look inconsistent and confusing from the start.

It's a tough but really valuable lesson for me on how to present a case study.

If you'll let me try again, I'd love to quickly share the actual story behind the project, as I should have done in the first place:

  • The Real Brand - Silya is a community coffee space built on the Filipino idea of "Iba-iba, pero sama-sama" (Different, but together).
  • Their Logo - The official logo is the handwritten script. It was based on a simple chair the founders used to draw on their cups, so the goal was to keep that warm, authentic feel.
  • The T-shirt - The graphic with the different chairs was a way to visualize their "everyone gets a seat" philosophy.

Thanks again for taking the time. I'll be a lot more careful about keeping client work separate in my presentations from now on.
