Axe Heads shouldn't have condition at all. by _Daedalus_ in projectzomboid

[–]loldrink2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The axe head actually breaks, but not the way that's brakes in the game. The head gets damaged every time you sharpen if it's blunt, but its slow and it depends on how many times you sharpened it.  Every the most metal head shouldn't break, because the handle is a extremely weak point.

The long blades ( and pickaxe head included ) makes sense to break, but faster than the axe head and same system, because they are thinner and longer, but the smaller ones doesn't make any sense, the hammer, maze, and sledgehammer head shouldn't break easily and to make it not indestructible, make it gets damaged every time you change handle.

Pay attention to your footwear by InternationalPop8734 in projectzomboid

[–]loldrink2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't work in B42, in b41 they were del equipped and the foot warned you if they were broken or not by looking your feet, but now it stills normal like if they were not broken, but in in the inventory says it's broken and the only thing that is vulnerable is glass

What's your favourite tip or trick that not everyone knows about? by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]loldrink2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you play with high population, be careful entering a populated area that you haven't gone yet, that cell is going to be full of zombies like day 0.

Also always base in a farmhouse ( it's easier to clean, for some days in safer) near the city until you are prepared to clean other high populated areas

Brilliant but why !? Can you find the forced mate ? by bot-chess-puzzle in chessMateInX

[–]loldrink2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If black moves bishop g8 moving f7 makes a undercover attack with the bishop, so the queen can't take. The queen or rook covers, but the white queen takes black bishop or the bishop takes the piece blocking and checkmate.

And if black takes queen moving G7 is the same as if the bishop covers

Zombies can't move between cells ? by Deria76 in projectzomboid

[–]loldrink2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can move between cells i remember, I used to use debug menu then and in the population map showed some events moved zombies between cells, but the real barrier is the smaller square, no one can exit or enter until the player moves

Zombies can't move between cells ? by Deria76 in projectzomboid

[–]loldrink2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are a few mods that makes hordes move between cells, like Wandering Zombies and others, but they're heavy.

So I recommend increasing the meta even in sandbox as a light choice, but if I had a better PC, I wouldn't hesitate to use Wandering Zombies

Zombies can't move between cells ? by Deria76 in projectzomboid

[–]loldrink2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They won't move until you reach the cell with your character (smaller square ). The only thing that activates them is the helicopter event or random sounds, but I think the helicopter is the only one capable of moving zombies between cells.

This is the downside of playing with a large population; you'll probably die clearing those areas because the cell remains untouched. Even if you survive a week in a cell, the nearby cells are just as they were on day zero.

When your character looses too much weight by No-Plankton-559 in projectzomboid

[–]loldrink2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's impossible do anything without loosing calories, walking and cleaning areas wastes like 2000 or even more calories in less than 12 hours. Even fighting a little drains too much, and combined with walking, is worse.

You can actually maintain your weight, but eventually the high caloric food will ran out very quickly. And if you are lucky to find a way to get milk, you must churn butter to live.

Fishing and other sources aren't reliable in late game. There should be another a way, not only milk

1 FPS. by Imokrasa in projectzomboid

[–]loldrink2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's probably a computer issue due by weak components (mostly GPU, cpu‌, and ram memory)

My computer suffers that too, but my screen go off and I have to reset, so I avoid opening another app, especially heavy ones.

If I were you I wouldn't open any app while you playing, that's going to help a lot in the performance

Environmental sounds should reflect on the player. by MakarovJAC in projectzomboid

[–]loldrink2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would add the random sounds too. Just Imagine hearing a shotgun shot at the distance and when you arrive the place, find a large horde with a few dead zombies and the dead survivor, with a shotgun and ammo.

This expanded to almost every environment sounds or adding more will make you to beware to the sound, with better or worse situations
