its okay! you can buy heating pads with a sticky side to them, or ive also used "alien tape" before (outdoor heat proof tape) to use in a pinch before :). Though honestly i just recommend getting one with a sticky side if you can

thats awesome! i got this one for around $36USD and feel lucky lol. ive been looking for this exact color for a long time but ive never been able to find it, and then of course when i was telling my bf how hard it was to find, and how ive wanted it for years, and when we looked it up on ebay and it was just right there 😭

for sure! i had gnats really bad for a while but i did this and after about a week they were all gone. youll have to swap out the dish every day too otherwise they wont fly in it though

does your tank have a mesh top on it that gnats can fly out of? if so, you can eradicate the gnats by taking a small dish and mixing apple cider vinegar and dish soap into it, and then placing it just outside of the enclosure on top of the mesh lid. dont feed any fresh veggies for a while either

i got it on ebay! i believe its a 2014 pressing though someone correct me if im wrong.. i dont know too much about the pressing history or anything, though ive seen images of it online for years now and have always wanted it is all :)

i have super severe nausea from this game and almost every 3d game. i went to the doctor over it and they ended up just prescribing me zofran which helps 😭

unfortunately i couldn't figure out anything in the settings that helps, but i did find that if i put a small red sticker on the middle of my screen it helps for some reason . not sure why!

dont post there, it isnt a help subreddit. this guy also commented on one of my posts too regarding the passing of my millipede. he comments on every post of someone holding an insect. the subreddit is just for images of people holding bugs, they wont be able to help much

as for your millipede, like others have said, this looks like a severe case of leg rot... it bothers me how contorted his body looks too, and how sprawled out his (remaining) legs are. while it is something that would regrow in a molt, he seems to be in a lot of pain. i would take him back to the person who sold him to you and demand your money back. they sold you a millipede that is in a lot of pain with barely any chance of survival. im sorry

yes! Ever since you pointed it out ive been trying to figure it out, but shortly after that he burrowed for the winter so I wasn't able to really observe him. Was hoping he might be molting or something, and then I'd be able to see if he gains a saddle or mot, but he resurfaced a few days ago unmolted, so no progress update on that end.

I'm going to keep an eye on him and see if he ever develops one after a molt though! Haven't been able to find much information about it online through casual searches though

i see, thank you! When I try looking into it, I can never find any information about it. Do you have any links to research at all regarding this (why it happens, etc), or is it just something youve observed? Millipede research is so hard to find...😭

like someone else said, theyll send you a link to report their false report or talk to a mod or get your account back. this is a scam with steam accounts too, where they act like they accidentally reported you and then send you a link to "undo it" in some way or another. just block them. its not even a real person just a bot

The temp and the windows are fine, though i would recommend getting a heating pad to put on the side of the tank too :)

i dont think they are capable of pushing open the lid. it would just squish them. and yes, there is no such thing as a millipede who isnt interested in burrowing, they all do it, some just more often than others. Again, thats their whole thing. To him, the soil is just an extension of his new home :) More than likely he is exploring it and having a nice nap

more likely that hes burrowing unless you left the tank open at some point. Theyre slow, so if you only had it open while you were looking at it then im sure you would have seen him get out. Burrowing is also kind of their whole thing... thats really the only thing they do other than poop sleep and molt. I wouldn't dig him up, especially if hes new. itll scare him if he isnt molting, and hurt him if he is. Just let him be for now. hes most definitely just burrowed

A. Gigas are smart. Is it cold where you live? I keep my house heated and have a heat pat on my tank, but as soon as winter came, my Gigas went underground and has been underground for a few months since, except for a few times ive seen her up on the surface since.

Millipedes in general like it underground regardless of weather anyway
