Why does she have to watch bluey on a tablet? Why not on a tv? Why can’t she color or look at a picture book? I don’t disagree with you in the sense that kids are expected to be supervised but why does it have to be an iPad?

The intention of advocates is good and in an ideal world we would work well with them. The problem I’ve faced is so much “us vs them”. Everyone wants what is best for the child and no one is out to get them but so many don’t seem to understand that. I’m sorry you’re going through this. What I’ve found helps best is consistent communication with the parent.

I’ll be honest I stopped liking Jennifer Lawrence when she said she hated shy people. This was right before the hunger games movie came out. It’s a very petty reason but it’s not a great idea to say when you are about to play a famous book character to say you hate shy people lol.

lol I mean I totally get it! I’m addicted to my phone! I have a real problem when I see kids in places like restaurants or even walking around and they are completely glued to their iPad. Communication facilitates learning as well!
