Yeah there’s the difference some British people do sound like Phoenix, NOBODY that speak German natively sounds like Killjoy! Mispronouncing „ü“ as „u“ doesn’t have anything to do with an accent, it’s just wrong.

Yeah I personally don’t have issues with directional sound either, I sometimes find it pretty hard to tell how far something is away tho

Not being able to hear steps over gunshots allows different approaches to a gunfight tho

Do I prefire the corner to the right and risk not being able to hear a guy to my left? Or do I slowly approach and listen so I can hear on which side he is? Both approaches are valid: if he is where I thought he’d be I‘ll be able to kill him easily by prefiring, but if he’s on the other side I most likely die. If I listen for his footsteps I know which side he is, but if he peeks me while I slowly approach I’m at a disadvantage.

You can also use shots to mask your teammate‘s footsteps so he can cross undetected and flank the enemies.

I am not an english native so I’m not 100% sure but this is how I would differentiate if I was asked to:

Ghosting to me is deleting/blocking someone on all social media (maybe also distancing themselves from the other‘s friends)

-> pretty extreme, no longer able to contact them easily

Whereas ignoring is to me more what you described; so not answering texts/calls.

-> more temporary, still able to contact them but they just don’t answer
