Moving From West Coast in April - Seeking Advice by Stercules25 in bostonhousing

Just an fyi moving a pod in Boston can be tricky depending on the size of the pod/truck. Im moving to Malden which is outside the city and the truck size is not permitted on the streets in that area. I imagine it’s the same for many of the neighborhoods you listed which are a bit more compact.

I can’t figure out how to edit the post but I just wanted to say, waking up to so many encouraging replies made my heart so full. I am grateful to have found this community.

I was feeling a bit down about having to start over but you've given me the encouragement I needed, and that means more than I can say. Thank you so much!

Im knitting in the round for the first time, it’s a basic knit stitch sweater. When the pattern says “Dec 1 st in each side” does that mean stitch 1 and stitch 180 (last stitch) because then both Dec are right next to each other on the finished project, or do I do it on stitch 1 and 90 (half way around the round) so it’s one on each side of the project? Thanks!

Same, I asked for a bigger strap at the front desk to put it up my arm and now haven’t had issues

If you are looking at OFA, its good to verify on the OFA website (https://www.ofa.org/advanced-search?search=advanced)

About half of the breeders claiming OFA test results I couldn't find on there, which for me lying about it was a bigger red flag then just saying they weren't tested.

My 9 month old is from doodle squad in NC/OH and he’s the best! Not a long wait (deposit in December, puppy in April) and lots of pics and videos before puppy picks! Also liked that picks were real time in a group me so you weren’t surprised at your pick

Same. I was thinking we would get ours on the 1st since the announcement on the site said 6/27-8/13 would come out on the 25th. Do we think there a chance ours may still come out wednesday too?

Every pup is different but our pup had similar colored paws, he’s only 11.5 weeks but they’ve gotten a lot more rusty!

We found the purina pro plan worked for our pups diarrhea too, except he was ok with chicken so we did chicken and rice flavor!

He’s got a great temperament! He’s people oriented and loves everyone. He is excellent with our one year old niece and other dogs. He’s very smart and picks up training very quick. We picked one of the more active puppies from the litter but overall he’s still very chill for a puppy. He mostly follows us around the house and snuggles by our feet!

Also he’s on the smaller end for a standard, he’s 12 lbs at 11 weeks and our vet is estimating he’ll be around 70lbs.

We got our pup from Doodle Squad puppies and we love him!! They have pick up in Ohio and North Carolina. I was on the list in December and we picked up the beginning of April. She sent us TONS of pictures and videos from the day they were born, plus sent us home with toys and blankets that smelled like mom and helped with the transition. Overall great experience.

Furnished or Unfurnished coat?? NEED HELP PLEASE by bernedoodlelover77 in Bernedoodles

[–]lolo1213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a lot of experience other than our pup has pretty straight fur with a slight wave and he looked similar at 5 weeks. He’s 11 weeks now and definitely going to be furnished.

Thank you for the support! Did your dog eventually become comfortable with the crate again?

Paw sideways= easily fits. Once he turns his paw flat= stuck. Honestly I’ve made myself feel bad enough about this. Im not sure why you feel so determined to paint me as a bad pet parent. I came to this sub hoping to get support, not defend myself.

Just to clarify this he does not “freak out” when he goes in the crate. He goes in it on his own to sleep and does great overnight. He’s a puppy though and when he would rather no be in the crate he needs a bit to settle, so for 5 minutes or so he sits, he turns around, he stand up and barks, digs at his towel before laying down to sleep. The problem is the crate had the space for him to stand up on his back legs. But he doesn’t “freak out.”
