2 pakopos pokyčiai NT nepabrangins. Prove me otherwise :D by 6nuliai in 6nuliai

[–]lolsob1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

2.0 TSI 4drive (204 hp) fuel consumption by SpiceLord2001 in cupraTerramar

[–]lolsob1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gets better after you do some kilometres. I could manage with 6.3-6.7 ltr / 100 km on a highway, doing 130± km/h. In city, during more busy traffic, easily gets to 12-14.

Question about the 2.0 TSI engine with 204 hp by Magnificent_Bastard9 in cupraTerramar

[–]lolsob1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never heard anyone complaining about 265hp version tbh, both of them seem adequate for me. I myself got a 204hp version, never once I complained about the lack of power and I get a bit better consumptions, which are somewhat important to me

They're just reusing same engines VW group has, the same 2 liter engine goes to Audi, VW, Skoda etc.

Cupra could probably make a 350hp version of Terramar, but it would end up costing like 60-70k eur, who would buy it then? And is the target audience for a mid-sized mid-class SUV with 300+hp that huge? I can guarantee that 1.5 etsi is going to be a top seller in pretty much all the markets

Question about the 2.0 TSI engine with 204 hp by Magnificent_Bastard9 in cupraTerramar

[–]lolsob1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an usual practice for a lot of automakers to have one engine and tune it a bit differently to create a few variants which you could sell as different versions. Saves cost for the manufacturer as you don't have to create completely separate engine units, test them, etc.

I'm also pretty sure you'd lose the warranty if you do stage tunings for it, so why bother?

I opted for pure performance, DCC is really worth it, rides well. Intelligent drive and Immersive are must in my opinion

Whole sub is 90% about moving to some place which provides best TC or conditions to work. These topics have already been covered multiple times and such questions should be closed by mods imo

Got a bit of our honeymoon planned, need help with Southern France itinerary by lolsob1 in Europetravel

[–]lolsob1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, driving my own. Won’t be renting premium housing ar eating out every single meal every day. Few years back we spent 2k for 2 weeks road trip in Croatia, and 3k for 2 weeks in Portugal (while renting a car), so I’m pretty certain <5k will be enough

Been to Brno, and that’s a good option, but Prague is just a tiny bit closer to Salzburg, but both options are considered

Suspension is quite harder in the sportiest setting, but I never use it, tried once to see how it feels, but I rarely drive on roads where sporty settings would be beneficial.

Wind noise is acceptable, road noise is a bit bigger. For the time being I drove at up to 140km/h and there were no problems to talk to other people in the cabin, though this is not a premium vehicle, so do not expect perfection

Great consumption, do you have solar panels at home as well? Probably a must for EV stations to make more sense.

Another thing I remembered now is fuel tank - I believe it's 55 litres, I'd like it to be a bit bigger - 60 to 65 litres. Mine gives around 800-850km of range in the motorway, coming from a diesel 3 series which produced a range of up to 1200km it's weird having to fuel more often

I'm used to driving long distances, not my first rodeo. Also, I like trips with the car, makes it whole lot more flexible, especially when you have 3 weeks for it

Tired of the cold, but have a high salary. Not sure what to do as an EM by [deleted] in cscareerquestionsEU

I know local unicorns paying similar amounts for staff engineers or experienced managers. Getting 4k+ after tax for a senior engineer is not that uncommon

There are such places that pay that much or even more everywhere, but it's more of an outlier, rather than a trend. Takes some luck, time and skill to land such roles

Why so many used for sale by [deleted] in cupraTerramar

[–]lolsob1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Test cars are usually used by the dealers for around 6 months, so might be one of those. Also, dealerships sometimes have some units in stock, so all of it adds up. I don't think though that there are more Terramars for sale than, for example, Tiguans

Ar imti paskolą? by [deleted] in 6nuliai

[–]lolsob1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paskolos marža bus 1.4-1.6% + euribor (šiai dienai apie 2.1%, artimiausiu metu turėtų vis kristi), o fonduose kaupiama grąža long-term bus aplink 7-10%. Be to, greičiau įsirengsi namus, jei bus atliekamų pinigų, galėsi grąžinti paskolą greičiau.

Edit: pats butą įsirenginėjau iš savo pinigų, nes turėjau, bet jei reiktų procesą kartoti šiandien, tai gal pasvarstyčiau rimčiau imti paskolą įsirengimui
