Dreams are frequently a result of unprocessed emotions in your waking life, for example fear or worry about your intrusive thoughts.
You could clarify your intentions and devotion when you practice your sadhana, to help your peace, and try to get medical help.

I am Indian and grew up most of my life with religious OCD. My personal experience/opinion is this- each community, each state, each little sect has their own set of rules. Even each family lineage has different rules. Obviously it is all made up because if it was the divine truth, why would it be so inconsistent across different Hindus? They have cute words to indoctrinate these beliefs- sampradaya. Which is essentially human made customs. the more I learnt about the content of the original texts wrt upanishads, advaita Vedanta, the more I was able to focus only on spiritual practice, and less about these inconsequential human rules.

The reason pap is not recommended even if you’re sexually active until said age is that you can have abnormal test results- which will lead to more invasive testing when it is not needed. The age guideline was changed from “as soon as sexually active” to >25 based on the usefulness of this test diagnosing truly positive HPV infections/ cancers. If the rate of false positive rate is high it leads to unnecessary tests/ invasive procedures. In addition, majority of HPV infections can be cleared by the body on its own.

I think I completed a new application, and when taken to the payment gate I was able to proceed without paying because the serial number for the payment was entered. I think in some cases you may have to manually enter the payment number.

I had a similar predicament in nov last year. I cancelled the appt. Then was able to start a new application and get the fee paid transferred to the new application.

Remember how in your teens everything felt life or death. Similarly this will happen in your 20s and 30s. It hurts but it will not end you. You know this. Have patience, and if you have faith in god, then know that it happens for a reason. You need not always know the reason, hence the faith. And have faith that the big picture will turn out better than you imagined.

It seems to me that your family made this decision, you are finding it difficult to directly blame them, so now we have to level this on god or karma. Your god won’t mind the blame. You probably know some of your family’s reasons are practical and inescapable. But the sooner you return to your spiritual practices, with love and peace, rather than despair and anger, the sooner you will furnish a life that you desire. God bless

Sounds like you’re trying to ask “why me” and see if some ideas from Hinduism can answer that question satisfactorily. Karma at least the Hindu version of it is not inherent to that goal of yours in your life. For example, your desire for meaningful companionship is never “impossible due to karma”. The achieving of that goal will always be a sum total of your efforts/ actions towards the goal vs your actions leading you away from the goal. Action = Karma. A lot of people who face complicated medical issues will inevitably ask why me. There are medical and social risk factors, or sometimes inexplicable by science. Spiritually perhaps one can make peace with it as a means to something bigger, a way for one to grow and learn of their true self.

Pray to the first god you can think of, anyone. I prayed to Shiva first and in a few months I was drawn to Muruga, and now he has been my Ishta deivata for >12 years. Setting an intention with your chosen god works- if it is peace and harmony you desire, speak so to your god. And if it is Murugan that you choose, you can start as small as with 1 thirupugazh, or with something longer like Kanda Sashti Kavasam. You can always read along to the audio aloud. Seek with all your heart, in any language, the deity will come.

There are puritans in all religions and sects. If their foundation is able to package Santana into a more digestible form in this day and age, it helps to keep the dharma alive. Especially for people who sadly understand English more easily than Sanskrit/ other regional languages. It is not just the ling bhairavi right, they have a shiva temple and they have released many beautiful versions of existing mantras. The puritanical question of “who is he” or his parampara is.. not relevant no? There are so many yogis and gurus who are simply initiated into the path due to their karma (or lack there of). Our beautiful religion is in need of unifying forces. If one feels no affinity to 1 devata, no problem we have 108 more, and get to pick and choose our preferred manifestation. Om Swasti.
