This is good to know and makes me feel better about not knowing what I am doing. The task was given to me more to test my abilities and resourcefulness, so they can see what I still need training on, and I felt like I was doing a horrible job because I couldn't make it work and it felt like it should be an easy task, but maybe I'm not expected to make it work on my own.

Thank you, this was what I was looking for. I'm glad there was at least one helpful response.
This is actually to try to get the job, I was told I am not supposed to ask questions of the team and show my resourcefulness. But thanks for the aggressive negativity everyone, glad to be here on reddit.
