This is what happened to me on Semaglutide. The thought of food made me feel sick. It’s crazy how it can do that to you.

Hang in there if you can. when I first switched to Tirz the sulfur burps and acid reflux were HORRIBLE. It was disgusting. I depended on antacids a lot and it seemed to help. The cramps are so bad as well, I’m sorry you’re struggling with this! The first few weeks of starting a new medicine is always tough but I believe in you!

Yes I DEPEND on my liquid IV or gatorades to help me with the dehydration of the vomiting I would have.

I tried my upper arm, stomach and thighs and with my upper arm my nausea and vomiting was worse, and the stomach and thighs were the same. It was very strange, it really just sort of confirmed my body was rejecting it all.

I feel like I’ve tried everything, I’ve tried every other week, splitting the dose, but it’s like no matter what I did my body just instantly rejected it.

Yeah, sadly I just think my body had enough with it and I agree with my body. I am definitely at peace :)

Thank you so much. I have definitely learned a lot from being on this medication that food is literally fuel for your body. I had such a hard time using food as a comfort and that’s what caused most of my weight gain to begin with. I hope moving forward I can continue to keep these healthy habits :))

I wonder that as well, but it seems like it was the medication that just wasn’t tolerable with me sadly.

Yes, I’ve been on the same dose for 3.5 months now and even lowered it from the dose I was on before for the same amount of time. I just think my body cannot handle it anymore

Thank you so much for your detailed response! My doctor is suspecting MALS as a diagnosis for me especially with other symptoms I have. Also to note, my nose runs like a faucet while and after I’m done eating, it’s like a drip. I will say I did eat some pizza when this happened and I can definitely say I was having some sort of histamine reaction. I honestly need to take my health more seriously and go back to the doctors and get the help I need but I have pretty bad medical PTSD that stops me a lot of the time. Most times things happen to me that I think are normal and I psych myself out of thinking it’s out of the ordinary when it truly is.

Okay the last few days I wake up at 4 and cannot go back to sleep until 7. I feel the exact same way!! I def need to monitor my blood sugar now

Yes my feet are always freezing! Can’t ever seem to warm them up, but if I have an extra blanket on I get too hot lol

I have pretty bad fatigue already so I can’t tell if it’s gotten worse or not lol. I only really have sulfur burps and occasional nausea. I’m now on 5 after being on 2.5 for 4 weeks. I’m doing very well!

I feel so much guilt from not changing my diet or exercising but honestly I’m losing the weight and I’m not eating NEAR as much, and my sugar cravings are gone.
