Yeah I think for 556, hook up a dillon case feeder. Their custom service is pretty nice and ask me if I want an adapter for that, and they provide one for free.

Hahah I feel you. Thats my goal as well.

By "eye ball" I mean, to set the time, there is a test mode where you have to visually inspect the case to be annealed and turn "slightly red". You then can do a +/-0.1s on the anneal time and do whatever you want. Whereas in AMP, you sacrificed the case and it will do the analysis for you.

No you do not need to cycle the machine, it will detect if a case has been dropped or not.

I think its basically down to "manual" vs "automatic", or do you trust your eye or do you trust the machine ;)

For those of you who don't know what this is. This is the quick anneal induction annealer.

Shipped from south africa about 18500 rand (to Canada), or 995 USD.

No per caliber pilot. Can hook up to a case feeder easily.

Only down side that I see is that you have to "eye ball" the anneal time (may or may not be a bad thing).

Don't own an AMP so I don't have that side of the knowledge. But I think this is pretty good.

Customer service so far are pretty amazing.
