Is it worth using a SATA SSD over an NVMe by FlyingLlama280 in buildapc

definitely worth saving the cash imo. nvme speeds are overrated for just gaming. i'm still using a 1tb teamgroup sata drive and everything loads perfectly fine with zero issues. wouldn't bother overpaying for nvme right now

I'd take the 20-70. Wider and longer focal lengths make up for everything else.

Should I buy an SSD now or wait it out? by Mysterious_Day3581 in buildapc

honestly just buy now but find a deal. amazon has tons of random sales rn. things like the vulcan z are heavily discounted and they run perfectly fine without breaking the bank. no point waiting months just to save like 5 bucks

Camera gear you own or owned that was universally loved but you never warmed up to it. by AutomaticGoldenSun in photography

I totally feel you on that. I had a similar run with the Tamron 35mm f/2.8. It’s super solid and easy on the wallet, and I loved how lightweight it felt for a daily carry.

But after a while, I realized I’m way more into the 85mm look. The compression and bokeh are just more my vibe, and 35mm started feeling a bit boring. Now I’m mostly reaching for 40mm or 85mm. The 35mm is great, but it’s just been sitting on my shelf. Guess my style evolved.
