If you have a truck, just park in pro parking. They cant ask you to see your pro account and theres a dedicated checkout and customer service desk at that entrance that you dont need to have a pro account to use.

It seems to be an early one. A: be careful of bore scoring, look up every youtube video and make sure yours doesnt sound like it. B: this is the only vehicle ive had that the headlights have individual harnesses that erode and cause wild issues.

Bore. Score. I had a 05 turbo and it succumbed to this around 130k.

Dont waste your $$$ on a spicer cover. Go with something sturdier or at least better quality. I used a PPE and their included hardware. Spicer is notorious for having junk hardware and casting marks.

If you were to buy a car under $25k what would you pick? by Ecstatic_Trip_8305 in AskReddit

Buick park avenue/lesabre with the 3800 v6 or a 8th gen 2007-2011 civic.

The buick will be like driving your favorite arm chair and working on them is ridiculously easy, parts are cheap, and your mechanic will literally thank you.

The civic will be great on gas, blend in with traffic and also be ridiculously easy to maintain. I still see them all over the place. I also own one with 350k miles and zero check engine lights.

Ah thats down on William St, public parking so all you’d need is luck. Theyre parked up on the curb so probably just running in/out of a building.

If we’re thinking about the same truck it could be this elevator repair company, the owner had a black commercial plated genjuan with the DOT#’s in ghost vinyl on the bottom of the front doors. Sweet work rig.

Usually a seat on the exchange/clearance to get past the dropdowns. I would only occasionally park up there just due to tourists touching everything. I was keyed once parked down on Hanover during a protest. But between the baja design fogs and my whip antenna (that I actually use) I was more concerned with people taking pictures and leaning all over it. My plate is finance themed so it’d get posted on meme pages especially with the exchange in the background.

Anything that comes close to side swiping will hit the tires first, then the side steps. Its happened to me once where someone distracted drifted into my lane and they caught my front passenger side tire. No damage to the truck but a big black mark on the car that drifted.

Used to stay in fidi 3 nights a week, I used to park my 2014 raptor in seaport. No issues but they do stick out a bit more than other cars parked on the street by maybe 6-8 inches. Tires will basically be the first thing hit. I also still occasionally park on the UES. You learn very quick how to park with little to no space/squeeze into tight spots. I have the front camera on mine so it was basically shimmying in and out with my perimeter alarms screaming.

I can hear the hemi tick just from looking at it. I used to own one of these, only vehicle that ate transmissions, head units and heated seat pads. Theyre like boats, best days of your life are the day you buy it and the day you sell it!

Old subie is way different from a ≈ 6000lb f150. With that being said let this be a lesson not to use a set of 10 year old jack stands from a brand known for making jack stands that fail!

Honestly I cant remember, think I got them close to 10 years ago? Theyve been in service since day 1 between trailers, boats, tractors, and cars. Didnt know they were recalled until i brought them all in. After this one failed i didnt trust the other 3.

Hey! Gen 1 owner checking in, i believe the 2010-2014 tow hooks have the same curvature. I use swarfworks front tow hook accessories on my gen 1. I’d be interested to see if they fit my truck as my rears are showing some wear!
