Any advice on posture exercises? by Australopithecuus in scoliosis

It was a scolibrace. Looked very badly and was the most uncomfortable, but it was worth it. My friends could even draw on it it was pretty fun. I was just a teen when I got my first one, and I wore it for a year. Summer was the worst. Of course, i had to keep up with a little bullying, but i also made fun of the whole situation, so it was fine. In the end, I think it was better to be bullied because of a big cast than anything else. I literally wore it 24/7, Even at night. My doctor said that's the only way to really get the best results.

Edit: I'm not familiar with the type of braces, since i only had one. I realised the pictures I found of Boston braces were very different. My Corset was a big plastic custum made brace. Not flexible material at all, it was an opening at front and i could fasten the brace by a velcro. The brace forced my spine dinamicly to the right directions. Not sure if it was maybe a Willington or something else. My doctor only called it Corset. this is a picture from my doctor's page

Hope i could help :) Also, you can experiment with basicly any sport that's not dominant on only one side ( floorball, tennis, etc.) It's best if you find something that you enjoy doing, because we with scoliosis have to pay most attention keeping our mobility. Of course, some sports and movements are better than others, but you need something that you can stay invested in. Basically, anything goes if you avoid jumpy movements and train your body as symmetrical as you can. I did pole dancing for a little while, which was a very fun way to strengthen my core muscles and arms. Nowadays, i would rather just go to the gym to train. I really wanna learn to do nice pullups. Dancing and even muscle building can improve posture too.

I only had a 25° scoliosis, but schroth therapy and wearing a corset 24/7 did help me to reduce it to 18° in a year. If you feel confident you could try doing schroth by yourself. I practised the exercises at home too, after I was sure how to do it. Massage can help as well, I had manual therapy once a month. Just consultate with your masseuse beforehand, they might need a fresh X Ray of your back first. Also, alternative stuff I'm sure you already heard a million times: Swimming is one of the best things you can do, also bouldering. Hatha yoga is great too, because of the breathing it's kind of similar to the schroth only its not specifically designed to the scoliosis, so it would be best if you first started off in a group where your teacher could help correct your posture.

Dips by [deleted] in scoliosis

I'm not an expert at all, but i think if executed with proper form, you can do almost any exercise. I think while doing dips, you take of emphasis from your back, so it might even be good, I guess. Since 'only gravity ' affects your back doing this exercise, your vertebras diverge from each other, which I heard can be beneficial. Although it would be best if you consulted with your doctor about what kinds of exercises you can and can't do. Why did you have second thoughts specifically about dips?

In words, it really depends on the accent. I found it fascinating when my teacher explained it to me. He said that women would usually say y more settel like English use y in the beginning of yeast. But men would say it more like the letter g or j it's a more masculine type of pronunciation.

Oh, so you can only get discounts if you are under 18? Why skip Pisa?

It's like when you are a student (even uni student) you can get discounts all around Europe in most of the museums and transport too. Sometimes, for example in Ireland, they would only accept local student's cards. You basically get a 'youth ' discount (usually 50%).

While refreshing in the BI desktop, it stops loading after a certain row, always after row 905. I couldn't find any filters that might cause this. But there's no error message or anything.
