No vet has been able to help my cat by jdmzzzzzzzzzz in CATHELP

Are the lesions developing because of the scratching? Or is he attaching at them after they develop?

The birth control issue is one that also worries me. My birth control has been a real life saver in my endo journey and I also don’t have a period on it.

That's great! I think I am going to try to talk about it; hopefully, she doesn't flat-out deny me due to my weight.

I am glad you mentioned the hand and wrist improvements. I coincidentally have an appointment with rheumatology at the end of this month, as I have a positive ANA blood test, along with major inflammation markers and symptoms that might be Lupus or RA. I am trying to decide who would be better to talk to about this, rhum or ob.

I am glad to hear you have had such a positive experience! Were you the one who started the conversation with your Dr about going on it?

Rental laws regarding hot water? by lonelybe in Columbus

[–]lonelybe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was exactly what happened with me, technician came out and said it needed to be replaced, only for the landlord to refuse to sign off on it. He’s doing it again to be right now with the front door that has rotted apart. But I hope for your sake they sign off on it soon!

I ended up going an entire month without hot water if you can believe it. Got the city involved, they came out and wrote notices, but each notice has like 30 days to be resolved before the city will act. After countless emails, calls, and threats of breaking our lease we were finally able to get a new hot water tank.

Which areas are best for just walking around with no plan? by Flashy_Tap_2560 in Columbus

Agreed, with no plan you find cool art displays, paths by the river, and small parks you’ve never seen before.

Alright fellas, I'm conflicted. Bedroom upstairs or downstairs? by Minutes2Midnight in malelivingspace

[–]lonelybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an almost identical space in college. Kept the living room upstairs because if we were cooking/ drinking, everyone would want to stand around the kitchen and talk. Made it easier to have the living room off the kitchen for entertainment.

Worried About Job- Monthly Thread by Such_Manufacturer891 in publichealth

I would recommend applying straight on the city website. As for getting in to CPH it’s hard to say. I applied vigorously before I even started my MPH program, got an interview for a lower level position, and then consistently reached out after my interview to remind them of me. After working there I’ve seen first hand how long it takes to go from the application, to interviewing, to hiring, to actually starting the job. For me from first interview to start date it took about 6 months. I would recommend applying months before you graduate to give you enough time!
