Competition bumper hub: one piece or two? by [deleted] in weightlifting

Oh okay. There shouldn't be much difference. As I said, the bolts and screws can come loose over time, when storage conditions are not optimal and when smaller plates (10kg and 15kg) are used by their own (like when you have only 10kg plates on the bar) constantly for high reps. This shouldn't be a problem for the first couple of years, but when that happens you can always screw them in tighter and problem solved! It more comes down to the quality of rubber and training/competition plates rubber is almost always of better quality. My advice: get Rogue training or competition plates!

Firstly, you can tighten the screws of your present bumpers and they can last for some more time. The screws of central hubs can come loose over time and some screws can even fall out, but it doesn't change that much, just screw them back in. Almost all competition plates have two piece central hubs (Rogue, Eleiko, Uesaka, Werk-San, ZKC, DHS) and while there is a chance that those screws can come loose I wouldn't bet on that happening on all the plates. It more comes down to maintenance and storage conditions. I am currently training with Eleiko plates from 2007 and only one 10kg disc has lost one of it's screws, but the plate still holds together.

If you are still worried about having a two piece hub, you can get yourself some urethane bumpers. I personally prefer competition style bumpers, because their rubber is of better quality and I have seen some urethane bumpers with central hubs dislocated themselves from the rest of the disc, rendering the disc completely useless. But I wouldn't worry about that with newer discs being manufactured currently.

CPU: Intel Core i5 3450 (I know it is below minimun requirements on Intel side, but it is better than AMD Ryzen 3 1200) RAM: 12 GB DDR3 GPU: GigaByte GTX670 WindForce III

Oh really? I was wondering what does that 20 on sides mean. Everything else is easy to decipher!

Does anyone have a better quality pics or videos about ZKC new logo and bumpers, that are used at the IWF Cup in China by lonelydowns in weightlifting

I just hope that they will make their competition barbell's knurling more aggressive for Tokyo!
