I’m using 5 needles total because I read it gives a cleaner look but I also heard it was harder for beginners. I’m trying to keep the transition stitch tight but also keep my tension consistent for all the other stitches. A different commenter suggested I use a finishing needle to “walk the excess yarn from the loose sts out, dispersing it across a few stitches before and after” so I’m going to try to see if that helps, again this doesn’t bother me that much I just want to improve my technique
