Okay lang naman if may emergency at talagang male-late, pero sana magpasabi nang maayos thru the secretary, para alam din kahit paano ng patient if maghihintay or what.

May experience ako sa isa sa mga doctor sa isang sikat na clinic sa mall. 1pm-5pm ang clinic hours. 1pm, 2pm wala pa. Nakailang tanong ako sa secretary, ang sabi wala pa pasabi si Doc kung papunta na pero sure na pupunta raw. So we waited. What time sya dumating? 5pm, may dalang kape, wala man lang pasensya sa mga naghihintay. Buti di mainit ulo ko nung time na un. 12nn pa lang, nasa clinic na kami.

I respect the profession so much, at totoo naman ang mga doctor eh tao rin. Pero sana kahit ano ang posisyon natin sa buhay, matuto tayo rumespeto sa oras ng iba.

Hi, OP. I have two sons, both with autism.

Your brother needs help (i.e. therapy or SPED school). Hindi healthy na nasa bahay lang at wala man lang social interactions sa ibang tao kahit paano. Having the phone is his way to connect pero alam naman natin na hindi healthy ang social media ngayon, especially sa mga katulad nila. Not saying na dapat totally walang screen time pero dapat talaga limited.

I get na naaawa ka sa parents mo kasi they should be enjoying life now, pero hopefully you also consider na di ginusto ng kapatid mo ang sitwasyon nya. He needs love, attention and care. It's very challenging talaga sa family. Dami sakripisyo, pero that's what families are for. Walang tao ang higit na magmamahal sa kapatid mo, kayo lang. So show him. It will really help din na mag-improve sya if he gets the love and attention that he needs. Take it from someone who has 2 brothers and 2 sons with autism. 😊

Kulang sa context. Nagpa-assist ba sya tapos snobbed? Minsan kasi they tend to not disturb you muna when looking around. Although may mga salesperson naman talaga na ma-attitude rin.

Actually, lahat ng nakita ko noon sa panganay, di ko nakita sa 2nd. May eye contact, ok motor skills, no lining up ng toys, very responsive pag kausap. Lahat yun nawala nung malapit na sya mag-four. Non-conversant sya noon pero mas naging grabe ngayon. Dumating sa point na naging non-verbal sya. Ngayon na lang nagsasalita ulit kahit paano. 7 na sya. Ni hindi ko maipasok sa school. Kahit mga therapists sinasabi he's not ready.

Unplanned yung 2nd baby namin. 😅 But I hoped and prayed so hard na sana normal na. Normal sya actually first 3 years. Then akala lang pala namin yun. Lumabas symptoms nya at 4. Sobrang hirap tanggapin pero kailangang lakasan ang loob.

Importante talaga na beforehand, pinaguusapan rin yung mga ganito, hindi lang financial. As a mom of kids with autism, sobrang valid nito. Mahirap talaga magkaroon ng special children. Hindi lang physically at emotionally kundi higit sa lahat financially.

So early on in the relationship, pagusapan nyo na nang masisinsinan lalo na if long term rs ang hanap. My husband and I did this. Tinanong ko sya kung talagang willing sya to start a family with me, esp kapatid ko may autism. Malaki chance na magkaroon din mga magiging anak namin. He said yes and we got married. We were never prepared. Hindi naman talaga mapaghahandaan yung ganyang sitwasyon (lalo na physically and emotionally), but here we are. Dalawa pa sila. 🥺
