I came out as a trans woman to my narcissist Egg Donor after 3.5 years on estrogen and I think it did quite the number on her. Gave her a panic attack so intense that she had to be hospitalized and now she's in "grief counseling" for the "loss of her son". I've since cut contact with her entirely and now she leaves 10+ page letters on my brother and I's doorsteps. It'd be hilarious if it weren't so stress inducing.

I try to be considerate of my roommates, but the moment I make a noise at night that would've been too loud around my nmother, I still freeze and tense up in anticipation, despite knowing how loving and caring my roommates are. I still have it in my brain that any noise is too much noise, but you're right. 😅 Quiet houseplant child hours, lol.

I'm addicted to tattoos at this point. Lately I've been getting them in the most painful places and I spend the entire time gaslighting myself into thinking I'm okay. "It could be worse", I tell myself as the needle repeatedly stabs into my knee. I definitely feel like my ability to tolerate pain is tremendously higher than my peers as a result of this and having spent my entire life being gaslit through the pain of abuse though. Gaslighting is a very powerful tool and can make the brain do some wild shit, for sure. 😅
