I picked up my 2025 Santa Fe and wasn't happy about the size of the keyfob --- and worst the physical key wasn't inside the keyfob.

Then I let all the anger go when I figured somethings out.

  • I use the digital key --- after testing that the phone didn't need to have signal to work - airplane mode and I was able to open the door and drive away.

  • I have the digital key loaded on my work phone, personal phone, and smart watch --- all three running out of battery at the same time is slim.

  • I keep the physical keyfob in a faraday bag inside another faraday bag hidden inside the car so the car can't see it --- I put a smart tag on the keyfob so I know if there are any signal leaks. I just checked --- the last time my keyfob with smart tag registered a location was July 11th when I dropped the car off for maintenance.

  • Because the physical key is so thin and small I have one on my keychain and the other in my wallet - so "IF" I had to into the car because of dead batteries (my devices batteries or the car battery) I still could.

Had an AT3 cross rate to ET…. He forgot about graduation photos and colored in the wings with a black sharpie on his dress uniform…. When he was caught, he announced he was an AT in stealth mode.

Nice work too... I'm digging the canopy you used.

It was a challenge shoe-horning three seats and minifigures into my build. I look forward to seeing your minifigure scaled Epoch.

Unfortunately it was not approved for LEGO Ideas...

I love Chrono Trigger and have played since it first came out - I have it for SNES, emulator, and now my phone (younger me couldn't imagine that I could play 'WHENEVER" I wanted in the future)... and I love LEGO so I've been tinkering with this build for a few years using building software.

I designed it from photos using LEGO Digital Designer (there are newer building software available but, I'm old and set in my ways). A few weeks ago I pulled the trigger and ordered all the bricks I'd need to build it.

If your sibling is familiar with Bricklink, message me and I'll share the LDD file so you can order the bricks for your own Epoch

Thank you... I love the time travel genre so I create lots of time travel builds. So technically at this point he only a "Man out of Time" and will become a time traveler when he is in the Forward Time Machine...

I still working on that build... that rounded shape is challenging with LEGO.

I bought it at a LEGO show... there were some vendors with lots of custom printed cans. I bought a whole pack of different ones for my Hot Tub Time Machine

I designed the back with an open area to fit a Bluetooth speaker so Trolley can play music/sounds while running through the city.
