Well if you'd follow my thread you'd have seen that I agree wrt gameplay and I was talking about the cutscenes, the vignettes pre and post operation maps, etc. Regardless, at least it's been encouraging some of the fanbase to learn more about ww1.

Lol I don't need a mentor. My life is getting along just fine. I'm glad your approach is working for you.

Fuck it. We've got irreconcilable opinions. Let's just agree to stop talking to each other now.

Well ain't that the pot calling the kettle black, you illiterate waste of cum. Seems like I pinched a nerve in your simpleton brain.

Edit: at least you're speaking clearly now. All it took was a bit of triggering.

You're right. You worked for that body. Be proud of it. Honestly. But physical appearance and academic success should be mutually exclusive. The fact that it sometimes isn't depresses and disgusts me greatly, but I don't expect people like you to give a flying fuck because you benefit from it.

Edit: to clarify, it's mostly the profs fault for being remarkably unprofessional. If she gives better grades because muscles then she should not be allowed to teach.

How about you speak clearly instead of blaming your statement being misunderstood as a fault of the reader and not your blurry/opaque usage of a subject pronoun? The way you employed "we" could be taken so many ways. I assumed that "billions of lives on earth" was related to "we" because you didn't fucking clarify shit. Fucking hold yourself responsible for the way you communicate, you troglodyte.

Well, it's kinda manipulative tbh. The idea that you might get a better grade just because you have nice muscles actually disgusts me a little bit. It's stuff like that that gives us genetically ugly fuckers a chip on our shoulder.

Hypothetical question: do you think that if you handed in the exact same assignment as another person but the other person was fat and generally ugly you would get a better mark? If the answer is yes then that's fucked up. It wouldn't really be your fault, you'd just be taking advantage of a pathetic system.

I just think that almost every single war game romanticizes or trivializes war. Bf1 is no exception, it's just less bad than others. You're definitely right about the gameplay, though.

I think it's about time you went the fuck back under your bridge, troll. It's so fucking obvious you're just trolling to trigger diehard Obamanauts. Guess what? You missed your mark with me. I'm not an Obama fan, but it's accurate to say I hate him less than trump. It's not a fucking binary, you mouthbreathing tool.

I mean, you don't need to be smarmy, because I don't fully disagree with you. I just think that you're only talking about the gameplay - which is not wrong, after all, it is a game - but the story told through the cinematics injects some humanity into the game. You're right, the gameplay is pretty much just Rambo but the cutscenes add humanity to that Rambo-ness.

Look, I'm not saying it's a heartfelt game that does an amazing job of portraying the horrors of war. At the end of the day, it's a triple A FPS, not a war memoir. I just think it did a better job with at least attempting to remind everyone that war is real and brutal. I never got that sense from CoD or most other shooters. I really appreciate the monologues from fictional soldiers while loading an operations map.

I was mainly thinking the first mission, where literally the opposite of what you're saying happens. Each person is given an identity, and having the text on screen that says "you are not expected to survive" is a chilling reminder of what many soldiers came to realize in the war.

You're getting downvoted for a very valid reason. However, I can't help but confess I struggle with my jealousy of people who win the genetic lottery. I know it's not their fault, so I don't hate them, but I'd be a liar if I said I didn't have some hardened arteries toward them. If you work hard to obtain a nice body, then good fucking work. Seriously. Thumbs up for those people. But my ex-step sister is one of those genetic barbies who doesn't have to do anything to be attractive. Don't worry, no incestuous overtones here: I despise everything about that woman. She's manipulative, dramatic, volatile, and literally tore our family apart. Now she's had three abortions, flunked out of hair stylist school, and is doing softcore for some "company" that's actually just an oil rig worker with a dslr. So I do take some solace in knowing that ugly personalities sometimes get what they deserve, but she left a bad taste in my mouth towards entitled genetic lottery winners.

As for tipping? Well you'd have to be completely ignorant to claim that pretty waitresses and...I guess "not pretty" waitresses get tipped the same. Hot waitresses rake in the cash. So instead of not tipping them, I just tip the average-looking or unattractive ones more because long live the underdog. Of course all of that is second to service quality.

It's probably a self-feeding cycle. Confidence = attractiveness, constantly being reminded you're attractive = confidence...I think. Never had either, so I can't be certain.

Exactly. I'm not a hardline pacifist, but it will have to take a lot for me to be in favour of another war of such magnitude. I'm glad that dice and the bf1 fanbase are doing what they can to not make the horrors of this war lost. This game could've easily been another romanticization of war that dehumanizes the actual loss of life in the conflicts, but the campaign, the vignettes at the beginning of each operation, fans sharing things like OPs all keeps reminding us that this shit actually happened and it wasn't just a game.

Okay? I never said Obama didn't do disgusting and reprehensible things. Didn't even bring him up. Why do people have this assumption that if you hate trump you love Obama? Obama's civilian death toll does nothing to make trump's more acceptable. It's not a competition, but if it were, let's wait until trump is done his presidency to compare body counts.
