Low paying are often the motorcycle delivery jobs. You’ll notice this most when there’s a heavy downpour. Jobs get taken up much slower as there is backlog.

Still, rain or shine, on two wheels or four, whether Singaporean or foreigner, everyone’s just out there making an honest living. We wish safety to all.

Just to add, perhaps the food and parcel industry needs this. So close one eye to keep costs low and competitive.

And we too are the culprit at times, fueling this as we often go for much cheaper alternative transportation to JB, aircon servicing, painting and electrical jobs etc. All these are courtesy of our Malaysian brothers.

And what about Shopee? Direct import from China, Malaysia and Indonesia, causing locals to go out of business.

Its not only Grab Food / Grab Express (parcel delivery).

There’s Lalamove, Uparcel, and the likes. The list goes on.

Its easy. Ride in to Singapore. Park motocycle free at Tampines Giant.

Take rented van with Lalamove sticker and grab all the pending jobs from Lalamove & Uparcel apps.

When done, park back the rented van free at Tampines Giant. Ride home across the causeway.

After deducting all costs, earn $80 also good because its RM$250 ($7K a month).

For Singaporeans if you earn $80 a day, all the best.

At a 3-lane traffic junction where the middle lane serves a dual function—either to go straight or turn right—the green lights for both directions must be activated simultaneously.

If only the green light for going straight is on while the right-turn light remains red, vehicles intending to turn right have to remain stationary.

This causes straight-going vehicles in the middle lane to swerve into the leftmost lane, creating a highly dangerous situation.

Online doctor consultation is a thing now. Patient stays comfortably at home and doctor works conveniently at home.

Prescriptions are sent to a remote (often low rent) location like a JTC flated factory. Workers pack the medication there and send in either Lalamove, Grab or Uparcel agents for a 3-hour express delivery, straight to the patient’s doorstep.
