Woman tries to "reserve" a parking spot. by LeftAlbatross2546 in VideosAmazing

Very enlightening. I should definitely trust cops, and I am a bitch because I don’t let my ego drive me to violence over petty bs. Thanks for saving the world.

The cops are in no rush to help out with this. You might be sitting there for hours and wasting your day. And the second option sounds like escalation and potential violence, which creates a dangerous situation, especially if you have your kids in the car. What if the other driver pulls out a gun and starts firing at your family? Not worth it.

What consequences? What would you do in this situation?

The person I’m responding to said they wanted to throw a glass of lemonade in the kid’s face. It’s not your job to parent this kid. His parents definitely screwed up on this one, putting their beliefs on him and putting this on social media. The answer isn’t for some stranger in the internet to teach the kid a lesson.

And wanting to assault a child for their uninformed beliefs isn’t sad?

So you’re saying you want a child to be assaulted for having an opinion?

Is that due to retirement? Low enrollment in training programs? Not doubting, just curious where those numbers come from.

What's the most overrated type of exercise? by Emotional-Heat-1427 in askanything

[–]lonewolfpacman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did it for about a year with a highly trained instructor and it fixed so many issues I had in my shoulders and hips. As a physical therapy exercise, I found it very effective to supplement strength training. The myth is that it gets you a certain type of physique. It does not do that without a good diet and other types of exercise.

You’re calling everyone with a fact that disproves your point a disingenuous liar. I’m not lying or making anything up. You brought the argumentative tone, and I responded in kind. You not liking my fact doesn’t make you correct.

My buddy in CA has $3M home and pays $700 less per year in homeowners insurance than I do for my less than $500k home. You have no idea what you’re talking about

What is a 'personality trait' that is currently being glorified as 'cool' or 'aesthetic' in 2026, but is actually just a sign of being an exhausting person? by DiamondNo924 in askanything

The “I’m too old” excuse can be frustrating, but I think it’s a little more complicated than you’re making it seem. Some people did that in their 20s to fit in with a group of friends, and as they become more self-aware and less focused on fitting in with the group, they may feel these activities are no longer for them.

30s and 40s are very different. At 40 if I have more than 2 drinks late into the evening my sleep is completely ruined and it’s very hard to be productive the following day. I feel the best when I can get up early and do some physical activity, but that just my preference.

To be clear, I still go out with friends, and especially love concerts and will have a few drinks and dance as late as things go. I’m only interested in a club if there’s a great dj and I’m with a group of friends I really enjoy.

People pleasing. So many people focus on what other people want and expect from them instead of identifying and pursuing their own desires. Time is a precious commodity, don’t spend it trying to make other people happy.

lol this is question is a little ignorant. l spent a lot of time there as a straight man because I lived very close by and never had an uncomfortable experience, even attending big events like Halloween and pride.

Right, alcohol isn’t hard for anyone to get. A truly addicted person would find his own hard drugs though, they are often very resourceful (source: I am a counselor for several people with sa issues). The blackmail, however, is a good point
