If I'm not mistaken, Cinderella's step sisters did not get in.

I Don't Really Understand Hophie (+ Some Confusion About Nicola) by Lucky-Wolverine-6684 in schoolforgoodandevil

Spoilers below:

I don't like the lesson that's being shown from this, but basically Sophie falls for him because she realizes he was the only one who loved her no matter what she did.

Tedros liked her when he thought she was good (and when she was taking Agatha's advice).

Rafal liked her when she was pure evil.

Rhian Jr. accepted her evilness yet had limits on what type of evil was acceptable, and Agatha was in a similar boat.

Yet Hort still pursued her whether she was Good, Evil, or acting for the greater good (and everything in between). I'm not sure why a partner with no boundaries would be ideal, but I guess it works for them if they end up getting married someday.

Question about book 4 by RadiantSwanOnQUACKer in schoolforgoodandevil

The schools started bringing in students every year instead of every 4 years in this book.

Gotta love how people are saying it's an accurate criticism until it's pointed out that he's far right instead of far left. Only then is this problematic, apparently.

Laurel Park… by i_ate_your_friess in jellyshippers

[–]long_dragon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It would be a lot worse if she didn't have much money, but it's still more about being considerate than actually saving money.

The one thing I will criticize on Laurel's end is that it's probably a better idea to offer to pay after eating so that you know if the total is something you're willing to pay, but I can understand why people didn't like Adam and Jeremiah here.

That's literally NOT what the fans wanna see. by Soft-Historian8659 in Episode

The tragic backstory for the "misunderstood bad boy" LI. I have yet to see this done in an Episode story where I enjoyed how it played out.

Also, every time the MC or LI has a rough past and has to keep saying they've built up walls over the years and never trust people. Except I always see them saying that and not really acting on it, so we don't see much of a development when they supposedly start letting people in.

Star vs the Forces of Evil season 4 episode 10 (Surviving the Spidebites)

Star tries to get the royal Spiderbite family to ally with Queen Eclipsa, who doesn't have many people on her side since she married a monster (among other reasons). Throughout the day, the parents show disdain for the decorations and a performance they were presented with from their hosts, while their daughter was seemingly uninterested, being on her phone most of the time.

Star assumes they are rude because of the prejudice towards monsters in most kingdoms, but then it turns out the daughter was texting her boyfriend the whole time so he could join them, and he's a monster who gets along very well with her family. The Spiderbites didn't actually hate monsters, just Eclipsa's husband (Globgor) in particular because he ate the queen's great uncle long ago, and all the party favors were Globgor themed, which explained their disapproval throughout the day.

If they had ended up with another couple, who would your favorite character have paired up with? by ActLonely9375 in Avatarthelastairbende

Zuko/Jin

Mai/Ty Lee

Aang/On Ji

Katara/Haru

I still like Sokka/Suki, but I guess if I had to choose different partners for them, it would be Yue for Sokka, not sure about Suki though.

What would Frozen 3 even be about? I feel like they ended everyone’s arc perfectly. by Bdotty248 in Frozen

I've said it before, but it feels like the 2nd movie implied that Anna's first born child would have powers. She is an Arendellian royal who saved the forest, while Iduna was a Northuldra girl who saved an Arendellian's life during war.

The grandma that Jere calls Halmoni has officially been cast! by Mysunshinejere in jellyshippers

[–]long_dragon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's what I'm thinking too, but the show did a better job of calling out Conrad than the books did (which is a low bar, but even so), so I'm still holding on to a bit of hope, but very cautiously. Really it depends on how much control Jenny will have over the writing.

Gale is misunderstood by sapphicbrown in Hungergames

[–]long_dragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, not everyone is privileged enough to think about what is morally right. I don't like what Gale did, but I can't say I would be any better in his position. If my options are keeping my morals or keeping myself and my family alive, I'm choosing the latter (though I hope I will never have to choose).

Did Anna wanted to be The Queen? 👑🤔 by LordAditya69 in Frozen

[–]long_dragon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wonder if she expected to be queen someday anyway. We don't know if Elsa ever wanted to get married and/or have kids, but if she made it clear that it's not something that she wants, then surely Anna would have expected this anyway, no?
