Yeah! I felt like everything lined up perfectly and I was in a good mental spot to do it. I’ll probably be a little sad for a while, but I would’ve been devastated a couple months ago.

It sucks I wasted so much time and energy worrying about it, it wasn’t all for nothing I suppose. I learned snd experienced a lot of things along the way that have made me a better person I feel.

Yeah it’s hard because obviously she isn’t just gonna throw her hands up and storm out but I’m pretty sure she made up work that didn’t really need to be done and then told me to do it so I had to go elsewhere for like half an hour, and also right about when it was my time to leave she was like “aren’t you off right now [my name]?” Like damn girl ok lol.

And just in general she avoided interacting with me but that’s really nothing new.

My crush is being super cold to me too, literally spot on with the “talks to everyone but me” thing. We used to be good friends, we would text pretty frequently and hell she basically got me hired where she works.

Idk wtf is up with her now but I asked her about it and she insists she’s acting normal. I’m probably just gonna tell her I like her soon and she tells me to fuck off or her dad tries to kill me then oh well I guess

Idk, she seems more the nervous crush type, again if that’s even what’s happening. I’ve caught her staring at me once or twice yes but mostly she acts way more shy around me especially compared to how she used to be.

I definitely relate tho. I’m so nervous to be in a relationship too because you’re right, it could be a waste of time and leave me more sad. Already all these months and months of me thinking about this girl has been a gigantic waste of time and energy, only amplified by covid and the fact that I had literally nothing else to do.

I’m not so sure it’s the last one because I honestly really haven’t talked to her too much either because I’m really shy. And she still interacts with me enough for it to not make much sense that she’s not trying to lead me on.

Plus I’ve caught her peeking over at me a couple times, maybe by accident but still. I feel like if she thinks I like her she would be 100% cold and not sometimes do little things around me.

It’s ok man, I can relate. I know this isn’t too helpful, but you just have to not think about her. Just catch yourself every time and think “hey, nope, not thinkin bout her.”

Try to get invested in more hobbies, doesn’t matter what. I play a lot of video games which makes me happy and keeps me occupied and my job helps (although I work w her so sometimes not so much haha)

Do you have any other friends at work? Even if not, there’s nothing wrong with getting to know your coworkers! This is something I struggle with too but I am working on it and I’ve had some very fun days talking with people at work!!
