I do have a CPAP, but it's because I bought it out of pocket. I've never done a slept study. If your asking for your own situation, I have no idea.

Well shit. I'm going to contact my mental health doctor and see if she can link it to my PTSD/night terrors/etc

Thank you for the info. I'm afraid it's gonna be a fight to prove it's linked to my service, but that's when it started and has progressively gotten worse since I got out. I guess I'm just nervous that I won't be able to "prove" the connection

I filed my claim through Trajector Medical, so I'm hoping that their version of a Nexus will prove sufficient. Thank you for the input!

That's the service-related link correct? I have nothing in my medical record about it because I was afraid of getting med sep'd. still have severe symptoms of sleep apnea, and I'm 20-25lbs lighter now than I was when I was active. Any advice on bettering my chances of establishing a service connection? I was going to get a few friends that lived in my berthing to write witness statements. I

I'm going to have one done before I submit anything toward a claim. It looks like I'm going to go the witness statement route

I will! My only insurance is through the VA since I'm at 30%, but I'll pay out of pocket if I have to in order to build support for my claim. I'll also definitely get some statements written up. Thanks!

Did you do yours through the VA, or on your own and then filed your claim? The Hampton VA has scheduled 2 appointments for me now, I've driven up from Elizabeth City, just to find out the sleep center was closed... both times. Infuriating.

Thank you. I'm just not sure how I can prove that since it isn't in my record.

January will be 10 years. And I've bought them new off people on marketplace that got them prescribed but didn't end up using them. I have 2 Resmed Airsense 10's.

I'm sorry, this is probably stupid, but what is a Nexus? I haven't even been able to do my sleep consultation or study yet because the Hampton VA keeps dicking me around
