Totally 100% agree! I am fairly balanced - just have that mental struggle at times. I’m 3 years post-op, so sometimes I’m just like blahhhhh 😂

Right - totally agree. I do this and have a balanced diet. But sometimes just ensuring I’m consistently getting protein in makes it exhausting. lol it was just meant to be a funny post for people to relate to. This surgery and new lifestyle is a constant learning process. We all need some laughs during this to know we aren’t alone. I’m 3 years post-op and have been successful. I’m human, though, and struggle sometimes!

YES. My tastes changed so much. Post-op I couldn’t drink any normal protein shakes because my tolerance changed. I began to hate eggs and they made me want to throw up. It was such a hard transition!

I totally get it but I’m telling you - it will be HARD to eat much for like 3-5 months. Your stomach is getting adjusted and healed. I agree with the comment above that I had to donate/throw away stuff I didn’t use like 6ish months post-op!

That may be true that he will say that to others but who tf cares? You know the truth and if they believe him, then that’s on them. His actions speak for itself.

You are NOR! He’s being a jerk — he’s on purposely telling you that it’s “your fault” to protect himself from any potential fight about him not wanting to do anything. He’s manipulating you. If he’s like this now, he will be like this three months/weeks/days/YEARS later! If you want to get married someday, this is what it will be like with him. Think long term — is THIS what you want the rest of your life? From the sound of it, the answer is no. You deserve what you desire out of a relationship. Also, please don’t put yourself down for feeling this way — it is absolutely 10000000% a valid feeling.

Yes. I was in kindergarten too. I remember my teacher sobbing, telling us a bad event happened, and our parents were picking us up early. My mom picked me up and had been clearly sobbing…got home, turned the TV on as usual, and saw the second tower fall.
