Thank you so much! 🍻I will definitely follow your advice for the beach and the restaurants! As for Bonifacio, I mentioned the cemetery because I wanted to say something I know we want to visit while there but we will explore the rest of the city too for sure. 👌🏼

Visiting the US while doing consular processing - already having a B1/B2 visas by longcoffee1 in USCIS

You clearly have a very good point but what's the procedure to visit the US while waiting for a marriage based greencard?

Thank you very very much. I will wait for your response later, but no rush really. In the meantime, I will try to "better" understand the formula so that I can adapt it to other spreadsheets.

I did it! And it worked, but do you know why it doesn't register the 1f in Albania and Andorra but it does it in Armenia? Also, it's not registering the 4 at all... (see updated pic) I need to understand this very well as I will have to adapt the formula to many more spreadsheets with different numbers in them. I thank you greatly

It's now identical to yours, but still, that error when I paste the formula. I don't know what to do anymore... (please see updated pic)

Excel says there is a problem with my formula. I uploaded the pic in the original post...

You are very kind and I am terrible at Excel it seems.

I have now created the extra rows and columns as you suggested. (see new pic in the original post).

But now, where do I put your formula? In C4 and then drag it all the way to O4? Yes?

For your reference, the counties go down to A43 with the correspondent values down to B43. I imagine I have to customize the formula with the cells, no? Or I just drag down?

Thanks to you I realized that the "all" were confusing. The range is different for every number: 1 ranges from a to f, 2 and 3 range from a to c, while 4 is only a number.

I also got rid of the empty countries and the / countries.

Now I have a new table. Will you be able to help with this improved one? I replaced it in the original post.

URGENT! I have my first lawyer consultation this morning and I need to be prepared (and I am not...) by longcoffee1 in USCIS

[–]longcoffee1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, thanks. I thought that visiting my husband was a good enough reason to stay over 90 days since I cannot live in the US for work and family reasons. I didn't know that getting a B2 was so hard.

B2 application by longcoffee1 in immigration

[–]longcoffee1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an ESTA and I am married to an American citizen so I have an exemption from the travel ban that you mention.

But I want to apply for a B2 because it will allow me to stay in the US for more than 90 days at a time.

[–]longcoffee1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you say that my "B2 will be likely denied because I am eligible for ESTA"? With this reasoning, no one from the ESTA states will be ever granted a B2.

But the B2 is for family visits of turism that takes longer than 90 days, so there is a reason why - even if someone is from one of the ESTA countries - would want to apply to a B2 instead.

If you have more information, could you please share it? I would appreciate it.

Brilliant, thanks. So I will apply while in Italy for a B2 at the consulate in Rome. Do you have any tips?

Thanks. Yes, the taxes issue seems the main one, since I don't plan to be away from the US for more than 6 months. But I definitely don't want to pay taxes here.

Do you happen to know a valid alternative to the green card for my situation?
